We went to Punima for a "thali" hoping to get a decent Gujarati thali. The place was filthy and the daal did not have the sweetness expected. Nothing looked appetising. All sold at exorbitant prices.
Not a shit hole at all. It has been the same set up for years and I commend the owners to have resisted changing and modernising the place - its one of the few places where the Dar of old is still alive.... And that is precisely what makes it soooo special
@@AltafDaya Apolagies Altaf. No offence intended. It may have not been said properly by me. You are absolutly right about authentic and still the same. Watching various videos all over Africa re foods and changes. Really great videos of yours. I think East Africa really has amazing food from cultures and scenery.
@@jackstewart-fo6zb Hey...not offended at all. You must visit Tanzania. Its truly awesome with different cultures, cuisines and people co-existing peacefully. What makes Dar and other cities so special is that even if people moved away years and years ago, they still call it home. Life was truly magnificent and though the developments have brought about a lot of good, it has taken away some of Dar from Dar. Its still a fantastic place though!
@@AltafDaya your videos are great re Dar. I liked the video in UAE of authentic Tanzania food some time ago. Really great videos with the viewer sharing your warmth and good vibes. Looking forward to more videos...
