Very safe people are friendly only if you over eat you get sick best hotel to stay is Chelsea Hotel. I visit every year best time to visit is between September and April.
Hello...its relatively safe to walk around. You just have to be careful not to flash around your phone and wallet. We just have to be sensible like how it is in every big city. The food is safe to eat in most of the places in Dar. Sometimes you may have stomach issues due to salad or chillies etc but hey.....its still worth it ....yummmm yummmmmm!!!!
Originally from Dar. Born and grew up here. Then moved to UK a few years back. Currently residing in Ras al Khaimah (an hour from Dubai). Parents still in Dar and it will ALWAYS be home. I visit Dar frequently.
