I was thinking about David Alexander’s conversion as well! I certainly have been strengthened and excited to listen to his new found love for the gospel of Jesus Christ. In fact, I have learned quite a bit from his Evangelical knowledge. Over my years, I continue to learn that there is much truth found and taught in other churches. But, my testimony in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has grown even more, as I learn how the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has provided greater understanding, ordinances that bind us to Him, and the fullness of His gospel. For this, I am truly grateful and BLESSED!

It's true. It was an excellent talk.

I have struggled with this all my life...still. It's really hard to look at them in the same way as before. To be open to them and turn the other cheek. People who hear the counsel with one ear.....and out the other. How to keep going to church to feel good, only to be pulled down. Keep trying

Please remember that their offense toward you is not about you, it's about them. Their own weaknesses, their own struggles. Their own frustrations they are feeling inside, maybe even a wounded inner child. My journey of healing my own mountain of weaknesses has taught me more compassion for the wounded humans all around me. I had to learn to not take things personally, which is hardest of all! The journey is yours. Release them to their own, knowing if they don't repent, the law of karma will get them sooner or later. And it won't be pretty. Forgiveness is healing, it's freeing, your soul will feel lighter and happiness can come back in. Forgiveness is for you, not them. You don't have to look at them the same, you can feel sorry for them that they are so stunted spiritually and still have a long road ahead.. Pray for them, Father knows what to do. ❤🙏🙏

It _SEEMS_ here , that you were wronged in a way _I_ could never understand , and my heart goes out to you and ALL victims of whatever hurt you had to endure. Its NOT an easy climb , and your healing can ONLY come as has been described by our leaders , Through the POWER of The Atonement of Jesus Christ and His Grace . Still , *_YOU_* , Cindy , are a faithful CHOICE daughter of God , wronged in a way known _deeply_ ONLY to the two of YOU. You are NOT called to ABANDON _THAT_ you were wronged , how or by whom , but ONLY called to offload the BURDEN to your Savior , letting Him take mastery of the situation , guiding how it will play out in the Eternities for ALL _involved_ . Leave THAT to _THEM_ . Your Bishop has probably ALREADY helped quite allot . That's what he's THERE for . Draw on that source of guidance and comfort as you seek your true comfort in The Grace of Christ . It all SOUNDS like a "simplified" formula , but its *His* Formula - one _I_ too have had opportunity to work through , as the victim of my _own_ painful betrayals . He NEVER *wasn't* there to HELP , and I will be eternally GRATEFUL that I was able to SUCCESSFULLY unburden my resentment , hurt and anger . Pray for THEM , DO for you AND them - _AS_ the Spirit Directs , but ONLY as The Spirit directs , _one_ TINY step at a time . If YOU're _already THERE_ , help others in their challenges , _large_ AND small ! The JOY _IS_ *there* to FIND and _make_ YOURS !!

Boy don’t I know that. Imagine we have been taught by prophets that when someone hurts you that the revenge to to hand them over to God to deal with them. And then love them as they are your best friend. Let God judge how to love them, we need to stay out of that. Leaving the love of god to god. They are not our babies they are his , to love and teach them. Once in my life when I was bad I got a spanking from my loving father. He cried after. I never wanted to make him cry. So I did as much as I could not to insttute that pain on him ever again!!

Have courage and continue to work to rid yourself of the anger and negative feelings. May the Lord bless and strengthen you in your struggle. He loves you.

Sometimes there is great power in casting out the spirit of anger and contention, out of your life IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST! Do it as many times as you feel it creeping back in, with faith and authority! Soon it will no longer bother you and you will have overcome!

I would love it if you would share more details about your injury and about the healing you received. I’m so grateful for the gifts of the spirit and want to learn more about them.

As far as The Church and The Savior are concerned it counts. I'm having different yet similar problems regarding my Temple Recommend. You're not alone, or not important. We can get thorough these trials of God, ment to strengthen us, better us, prepare us, test us, test those around us, and show His mercy, and His love for us.

You count and all you do counts with Christ. What matters least is judgmental people. They have a lot to work on. Carry on in Christ.

Why would it not count? I guarantee you that our father in heaven knew before you went on that mission the length of time it was going to be. God knows your heart. I would not doubt that the opportunities to teach of this church has not stopped at your mission. You never know who God will bring into your life that you can spread that message to.

Stay The Faith Only You & God's Relationship Matters 🙏❤ I Love You 💝 whether you Serve One Day or 18-months or All Your Life Only God's Special Relationship & Yours Matters ❤️❤️❤️

If you say that mission did not matter or count as a full-time mission, you are wrong. You become a missionary at birth and when your mission is over, is when you take your last breath. We are all serving the Lord daily, and the Lord knows exactly how to help and Lead You, a lot of times we don't even know it. Even during tragic moments in life, will be turned into a glorious and humble moment among many people without realizing it. What you think is very important, that is where your heart is, destructive thinking can always bring you down. Reading the scriptures and prayer daily will help you in a more positive way of thinking and strengthen your mind and heart. Some people don't realize, meeting people on a daily basis is no accident, you can say the opposite if you want, that is not true. Everything we do on a daily basis, is not in vain unless you're watching television and playing video games all the time. This life we live now in mortality will matter when we leave this world. Either your life gets better and better or just the opposite depending on what you do with it. I'm sure you know a lot of the things I am talking about, but there's others that read these comments that don't have a clue and just need a few simple words to move closer to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.😊

Don't forget to forgive yourself too. The Lord forgives and forgets our sins but we must do the same for ourselves. You will be stronger for what you have gone through..🙏

What he means is if some one says something you consider offensive. Try your best to ignore it and move on with your life. Don't attack the person, and do the best you can to not let what they said affect you negativity.

It actually is better than live, in person in the conference center it is worse, they are speaking in a huge room

Unfortunately no. They are speaking to a large room, which creates that echo. It's not terribly bad yet is noticeable

I actually love the echo it is so nostalgic to conference weekend that if it weren't there, it would feel weird, lol

There are plenty of times and places to listen to music uninterrupted.
