I wish we had ike a day in the middle of the week off so we can a reset twice a week. i find that even when I reset on Sunday, by Wednesday, I am DRAINED

I feel like what’s throwing the gym aesthetic off is the storage shelf being a focal point. I think swapping the position of the couch with the shelves would really give a seamless look bc the couch would blend into the background and then the storage racks are facing their sides and less of a hey look at me. Not sure if u tried this already though so disregard if it’s been addressed haha

The couch is great!! Do not get rid of it. Maybe switch the rack behind with the dresser and put gym equipment where the dresser is

I don't think lights around the mirror would look right but maybe if you put strip lights around the ceiling that would look better.

this seems like such an ideal Sunday, a great balance of getting stuff done and relaxing as well! for the gym area I think that adding more lighting would be beneficial, maybe something with daylight bulbs also the monochromatic h&m set looks so chic and comfy!!

Your gym is looking great! I agree with you...not sure if lights around the big mirror would look right. I was thinking a tall floor lamp would be nice by the couch if you end up keeping it down there and once you get all of the black floor laid you could always put a plant or something else in one of the empty corners. You have a lot of space to work with so it's nice you can make changes often!

You Can Put A COUCH COVER OVER IT A DARK ON TO MATCH THE BLACK OF THE GUM GESR OR GRAY WOULD MAKE IT MORE APT FOR A STAND OUT ALITTLE MORE LIKE ITS MENT TO BE THERE IF U HAVE TO KEEP IT IN GARAGE FOR NOW. Yes you are so right Kenzie. The couch in the garage needs to go. I think you could use more mirrors and some more gym equipment. You don’t need big squat racks or anything but maybe a workout bench for hip thrusts. A elevated dumbbell rack for matching hand weights. Maybe a woven basket for some hip bands. A shelf under the tv, you could decorate it with inspo and a nice fo plant

I think you have a vision in your head about a “gym,” but you have to be realistic with the area you have. Maximize it of course and get all the equipment you want, but you’re going to be the main person to use it. As long as it’s functional, special, and has what you need, I think it’ll be a great gym. I don’t think with the space given and having to take up room for storage you’re going to meet your expectations. Just be a little realistic with yourself and don’t set unattainable goals or it will affect your mood every time you walk into the room. Xoxo 💕

I love this! Also, would you consider swapping to a hamper with wheels or something? That might help make it seem like less of a chore, I know you still have to carry it down the stairs but at least it might be less painful between floors lol
