Not a speaker guy, dunno why this ended up in my recommendations, but that doesn't matter. It's always cool to see the engineering progression as a machine is tweaked and modified to perfection, overcoming limitations and squeezing every last drop of performance possible from the laws of physics.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it =) I'm curious about the algorithm as well... I also watch a ton of health, fitness, and nutrition content. Also high performance automotive stuff (gas and EV). Maybe it came from that?
The Brand speaks for itself. It’s amongst the best and I’ve had great experience, thus far . I’m planning a 4- 6.5 U series underseat in my F-150 and can’t wait to get started!
The back and forth talk can be healthy. I myself am learning a lot from the exchange. It all leads to everyone stepping up anyway, at least that's what we hope for.
Looks nice, i been debating on which 4-8s to go with. I been looking at either going with the Sa v3 8s U8s or x8 v3 8s. The x8 v4s are jus lil to big and take some major power and the amp im looking at was about 4k tops. Figured 4 8s would be my best bet on output ported under my seat unless i go with 2 10s.
You won't really see the performance gain in the T/S spec - it's all in the nonlinear behavior under power. This would be show on Klippel curves. I'll eventually have these for all of our products in the future. Based on feedback so far they are very similar at lower power but shine much brighter at levels that push the limits of the v.3 suspension - which is exactly how it should be.
I have the u8 powered by a 1200 watt JL HD1200 amp. Looking at upgrading to the x8 v4 very soon. Expecting a nice upgrade in bass quality from the u series.
@@jacobfuller9893 well a software doesn't have to be produced, just copied, could you share a copy of it or give me the contacts of the creator? I cannot find anything about it online except instructions. Or do you know of a replacement?
@@woldemortxyz7996 it was made by Dan Wiggins and David Hyre. It has a hardware dongle on the version I have for copy protection. But one of those guys may be able to get it for you. FEMM is a free software but it doesn't have an easy to use front end. www.femm.info/wiki/HomePage
didn't really see a size diffrence between the spiders woulda loved a better comparison like putting the new v4 spider in the old v3 frame see if it fits or the other way around or maybe show them side by side or measure them i would have loved to see that but im not the creator of this so i cant say if its bigger or smaller still amazing video love the x8's have a v3 at the moment
I saw a response to the new frame being that it’s allowing more abuse. The woofer isn’t really much better, but it is now larger and allowing it to handle more longevity and abuse. I don’t think MB’s intention was to bash this woofer or create this much backlash, for whatever that’s worth
@@501Hog Remember that M B is just a hobbyist like most everyone else. Sometimes you need to take what he says with a grain of salt or realize that it's just his opinion that he's giving.
The jury is still out on the V2 Rampage efficiency. Remember that efficiency can be measured, and so far MB has not actually measured the power that he's put into the speakers. He says he's running way less power, but he hasn't actually measured it. He recently went from two amps to one amp and changed the gain settings so he may not realize how much power he's actually giving them. Hopefully we will get some good solid information soon.
@jacobfuller9893 friendly competition only benefits the consumers. Ive been with you since the release of the saz1500d. Currently run 2 u8s but I must admit I just ordered 2 rampage 8s only because I can't fit x's under my seats in my truck box.
Jacob....just ignore MB....that paperclip thing means absolutely zero when it comes to performance....sometimes he runs his mouth out of habit he is a good guy in his heart..don't take it personally my friend....
Name one time where Mbe was wrong when he said something…. U can talk a lot when u know ur right….but it’s all for fun it’s just speakers and speaker boxes #factnotfiction
@@501Hoghe is usually right just dynamic about it. I like MB a lot. He has said cone area is king for years right… makes sense then he proved himself wrong with the b2 audio… he does cater to certain companies quite a bit and calls others doodoo…. Doodoo to who? I’ve used every sub made just about. They all have there pros and cons… just because somebody doesn’t want to spend $569 on a single subwoofer doesn’t make it doodoo….. that’s why it’s called “budget”
@@dcaudio1 where was he wrong about the b2 audio? Nd tbh both men are ok I just favor Mbe more bc he was the one who really taught me about this car audio more in-depth I mean but I’m going off each man word nd tbh one tells more truths n my opinion but sundown is a great brand but mbe does back brands that are dirt cheap that r good unlike sundown people (in my town) who bash everyone who ain’t got a sundown hooked up I run 2 Db drive wdx g0 so I know about "budget" subs but only from him so I agree with the doodoo calls but it’s up to the person wat they want to spend they money on…We’re just on the outside looking n
