a 1999 with 3700 landings is about 5 million but operation cost a million/year. There is a reason for a 40 million jet cost "only" 5 million....same aspect a RR Phantom 2008 costing 90k...out of warranty and will cost a fortune to fix it....

Love the camera angle - get a much better view of what you're doing as the flight progresses. Fantastic cloud shots, too! I always love that! On a trip to OH, I was coming down 81 near Wilkes-Barre, PA from a higher elevation - there was fog all around the valley, so I got a great perspective of what it looks like "flying" over clouds at 75 MPH. Makes the cloud shots in the jet that much better! You guys are MOOVIN'! 😎 On Windy.com a few days back, I saw a 211 MPH wind at FL300 up to maybe FL380, just north of MI and OH in Canada, stretching east towards the Atlantic. Any jet in that vicinity on Flightaware had ground speeds of between 700 - 750 mph - that was impressive!! Wish I could do that both ways across the country - would make for some super quick travel times. 😊

I used to ride in the cockpit of a DC-1-30. At full GW TO it was roll...roll...roll...(roll some more) "V-1" roll some more...another 5-7 seconds...then "rotate"....roll some more....it comes off the runway slowly...another few seconds end of runway whizzes by...another 5-10 seconds then it's "V2" then go to flap retraction schedule. In the Gulfstream it's more like "V1....VR...gear up...V2...flaps up" said about that fast. Compared to a full GW DC-10...that's not a take-off...that's a launch!

Funny comments here. Camera angle is generally good, its complimentary to Captain, not so much for FO, especially if bald.. or has muppet hair. FO seemed to do a decent job right up til you motioned for alt increase following the atc call for 26k iirc... he may have gotten there, but should have been in motion during readback. As glamorous as the G4 is, its checklists suck (up every spare second).
