Thanks for the nice comment, as soon as got onto the motorway the wind noise was terrible unfortunately!!!! As my father and I are really enjoying doing the videos I think it might be time to invest in some proper equipment (separate microphone etc) I was only doing 60mph but sorry sound was terrible. The Sunrise video sound is much better as I drove into work with the roof UP as it was so cold!!!!!!!!!!!
@@jagandthestag I’ll definitely have a look at the sunrise one. The reason why I have such an affection for these cars is that my dad used to work on Stags back in the 80s as well as various other cars of that era (mainly Triumph). During School holidays I’d spend time at the garage with him and often got to ride in these cars. He also worked on a lot of Rover V8s including converting TR7s to TR8s. That was all during a period when you could identify most cars merely by engine sound and even some of the 4 cylinder cars had character that is sadly lacking these days. We do feel really blessed to have the cars, really amazing you should say about your dad, my parents worked and met at a place called hollingsrakes which sold everything of the British Leyland cars. Dad in parts and mum on the switch (phones as sure you know) Got a drive from a neighbour when I was about 7 in a Stag and wanted one ever since!!!!! Always liked the look of the Rover P6 we have had it since November and what an amazing car!!!! Absolutely love it!!!!!!!!! Just worked Fri sat sun bank holiday and made it so much better taking the stag!!! Will take the family out for lunch today as not been here!!!!!!!!! @@jagandthestag Nice to hear back from you. I'll try to keep this one brief. I also have a soft spot for the P6, having travelled many miles in one as a kid and that is another car on my dream list! Sadly they will remain just dreams which is why it's all the more important that people like you keep these cars on the road so I can at least appreciate them from a distance and maybe just one day get to drive in one if I'm ever back in the UK!
@@daveshongkongchinachannel a half decent Stag is getting more expensive but the P6 is really under appreciated and can still pick up a really good example for little money (ours was £3k in November and no really nasty surprises yet!!) Another really good thing is parts are plentiful for both and not over expensive
