It's interesting you start this wearing bikini bottoms, I'm just wondering how you swing that with all the ropes and other hazards that could hit you. I would feel overexposed to thise things even with shorts. But, regardless of all that, I'm sure it's amazing being out there on your own with the sea. You obviously know what you're doing.
Sailing solo in blue water with a life line seems much like riding a scooter or motorcycle without a helmet. You may get away with but one mishap could be catastrophic. Even when I was helping transit sailboats with two other crew members we always were secured.,Especially for those nighttime watches!
@@peterkristensen4965 If you go over the side and you're not attached to the boat you died. No matter how skilled you are in the water the chances of survival are unbelievably low. I'm a former Navy SEAL and a college swimmer. If you're tied to the boat you have a chance. if you're not you have basically no chance at all no matter what anecdotal stories you might have heard. Even with other people on the boat the number of people who fall overboard and wind up rescued is abysmally low. If it's daytime in calm seas and they know immediately you have a good chances and if it even takes a couple minutes for anyone to realize you're gone your chances are evaporating. a bobbing head without the chem lights or flashlights attached to the vest is amazingly hard to locate. I've spent a huge portion of my life on/in the water. You can not possibly over estimate the danger.
What a beautiful woman. All around beautiful woman. Good for you to do this so you can “find yourself”. It took me a great journey to find myself. 8yrs in the Marine Corps and two overseas tours. I personally think we as humans need to “find ourselves” before we can truly love, and live in happiness. I guess it’s kinda like if you know you know. Peace and love to everyone that reads this. “Find yourself”
Very beautiful seafaring captain, be very careful, tall sails, wind at your back, the cosmos for your guide, anchor 's up, captain, very beautiful, a story book tale in real life, bon voyage
You're young, and I know it's very difficult to conceive of this happening. But if you don't want a safety harness and keep yourself connected to the boat, sooner or later you're going to fall over and watch it sail away from you. It won't happen in crazy rough seas, probably not anyways, it will happen on a calm moment, when you're distracted by something and not paying attention.. If you're not wearing a life jacket, you're going to disappear. Don't let that happen. And if you can't get yourself worried enough about it for your own well-being, think of your parents, your family, the people who love you, think I hope devastated they would be if that happened to you. If you just disappeared. Unless your parents are POSs, there's no way you can imagine how terrible that moment would be for them. Do your part, where harness clip in when you go on deck, and even when you're in the cockpit when the weather is it all rough.
What a beautiful sight with the sun and the water, looks so peaceful and relaxing, would love to be there, I’m a very unhappy person, very depressed and I never have a day where I feel good, I apologize for complaining.
I'm so proud of you, young lady. I just discovered you. I'm part of the 1% (female solo skippers, that is), too. I don't have a sailboat, but I'm captain of my own boat. I'm too old to do what you do, but I'll be out there on the water until I die. You're my spirit animal! Wishing you smooth seas and perfect winds. Keep being you and change for no one. ⚓️
