I recently had my canister filter for my discus tank broke down. Had to replaced it with new one which is a Sunsun HW-303B. This is how I set it up which I hope can be helpful for you.

Can you show the inlet and outlet connection on the aquarium top. I too have a moulded tank. Just want to get idea if the tubing interfere with opening and closing of top lid. I have 120L tank.

Will this work on 4 feet (4 L X 1.6W X 2 H) Cichlid Tank .. For Cichlids do I need more powerful filtration?? or will this work ..I am new to this ..Planning to set my first aquarium this weekend ..Thank you.!

@@aforashish7 yes i had the same problem but I fixed it. User error, so the hoses where the intake and outtake is switch them around, and press prime a few times. I made a mistake putting the intake and outtake on wrong side of the hoses, and it won't prime so i was wondering and shaking my head why. Also make sure filled you canister with the tank water, it will make it easier to prime.
