I struggle for a few days to throw on the extended trailing arms for my OG Commander max. I run into an issue with the brakes that I had to brain real hard for.
If I'm not mistaken, you're the only one on RU-vid with an extended trailing arm install video for the gen 1 commander. Thanks! By using the old axles, have you had any issues yet? I know everyone says to get rhino 2.0s but I see that you didn't. Just curious how it's working out for you
I have not had any issues yet, but I have not ridden it hard at all. I plan on doing a ride here soon and will find out how much of a mistake I have made. Once I break one I will upgrade the axles and hopefully have a stock for a spare.
It is one nut, then use a mallet to hit the bolt back. The bolt should pull out after that, if it doesn't a screw driver should fit to push the bolt out further.
I recently bought a can am commander 1000 XT Max with the extended trailing arms already on it but for some reason the drivers side rear axle keeps popping out. It has the rhino axles just wanted to see if you have had any problems with yours? Any help would be appreciated.
