This shield in the video is on a 2023, we had 0 issues with the wiring of the shield, not sure why they say the harness won't work, nothing different there, just the cross member. We have a video on this channel specific about the cross member change and what to look for. Thank you for watching!

I got mine installed and it works great, made the same modifications to the cross member as yours. Regrading the wiring harness, on mine the connector SuperATV's instructions reference in the instructions no longer exist (not on mine anyway) -- I just decided to tap into the 12V accessory power (cigarette lighter)@@HesterEdition

@@HesterEditionThanks I got it mounted after cutting it with a combination of small cutting wheel and jigsaw with a metal cutting blade. Now I can’t find a keyed power source other than the one under the hood against the firewall behind the fuse box? It works but it runs really slow. It must be low amperage there. I need at least 10 amps and the one loose two wire (red/white) under the dash by steering column is dead in every scenario, not hot not keyed nothing? I considered the heated seats plugs under the seats but those are hot and I need keyed power since the switch is illuminated. I saw the big plug under the hood, maybe for blinkers, but it has 6-8 wires and I kind of hated splicing into that one? Winch is workable but it’s hot too. I hate to keep asking for help, but where did you guys wire it. Pigtail they provided was useless fyi.

Fyi, I ended up tapping into that large plug with 10 wires mounted near front grill under the hood. I found that the brown wire port (top second from left) was keyed power and turned off instantly with the key. I just made a temporary blade cut with snips and inserted, worked. I grounded with ring connector they have to the winch ground. I had to take up the wire and plug which is not the best looking but until I figure a better place it will work I guess.
