If you were to tell me that NICK FOLES would lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl, I would have laughed at you. Congrats to him and the Eagles winning.

For those who don’t know how much this means to philly fans, my local town just literally ran out of their houses and screamed and celebrated. We’re only a town of around 1,000-3,000. My whole family cried. Philly is impossible to navigate by car right now because every square foot is covered by people. I’ve never cried such tears of joy. See you philly fans at the parade

Amazing how when Wentz when down people thought the Eagles had no chance. Just a reminder to never count a team out no matter what happens. These are grown men out there and they never gave up. Congratulations Eagles

Been an Eagles fan since birth. I remember all the disappointment in my parents friends in 1980. Some rough years till Buddy Ryan, and then eventually Andy Reid era.... in 2004 I was 32, single and threw what would have been the best superbowl party ever... Tvs in every room (including bathroom) bonfire, drinks and food and my best friends since grade school... unfortunately the party was cut short when we lost to that Crumb Belicheck and the Pats.. I remember passing out on my couch in Philly and feeling like death on Monday morning.... a few more up and down seasons and now its 2017... somehow between superbowls I'm now recently divorced with 4 kids... not a highpoint in life, but the Birds had a newer young coach and a Franchise qb.. when Elliot kicked the 62 yard fg early in the season to beat the stinking giants, you knew something special was happening. Even when Wentz went down, very few philadephians lost faith... we had Saint Nick, who looked like Tom Petty and spoke like Jesus... both superstars in their own right. Superbowl Sunday comes, and I got the same group of friends getting together. (Although coming from different states now) I hosted the pre superbowl brunch in my now modest... post divorce home. I remember going to Acme Sunday morning to pick up stuff. The air outside was absolutely electric, Acme mobbed, everyone in green, singing philly fight song. IT Was Sunny and really crisp. Driving back from Acme with the window down, all was good in the world. We watched the superbowl, at my buddies uncles house. My best friends for 35 years...and our children. The game was finally starting and there's Belicheck and Brady on screen.... A metaphor and reminder for every obstacle and hardship that beats you down in life - getting beat again would be a tough one. When Legarrett busted that first big run, I went nuts, and from that moment on, I felt a calm sense of confidence.. . When the final ball dropped, I saw tears in my friends eyes. I was hugging my 11 and 17 year old sons, and was so happy that they didn't have to wait 40 years for their team to win, and happy that they got to witness (arguably) the best superbowl ever. For months afterwards. Everyone had a little more pep in their step, anything seemed a little more possible, and the city was united... Parade was amazing, kids got to high five players. It was truly a remarkable season, which will not be forgotten... hence watching highlights on the anniversary. Ps.. Belicheck is still a crumb but I've made peace with Brady.

I’m a Houston native and go for the Texans but I had always been a philly fan. The way they hype up the fans and overcome obstacles, I can really see the hard work and ethic. I really love the eagles and am so happy they won the Super bowl.

No words for this game, Both teams scoring almost every drive, Missed field goals and no drama. Was not routing for a team but still got nervous after every score. Eagles were the better team but expect the Pats to be back with a vengeance.

Once I saw eagle win against Minnesota Vikings, all week I was telling my coworkers Philadelphia eagle will win the Super Bowl , because of the high scoring they scored against the Vikings....congratulation Philadelphia Eagles, I was cheering for you from the beginning to the last seconds of the game.... i'm from Buffalo New York, and eagle, fan for many years....

I'm young, and I haven't watched football for very long, but I am very proud to have witnessed a historic game in NFL history. When the Eagles, my favorite team, lost Wentz, I thought it was over. But this incredible team's endurance and spirit proved my pessimism wrong and earned them their first ever Superbowl win. Personally, I was getting rather tired of seeing the Patriots in the Superbowl, but I'm not a jerk. Both teams played their hearts out tonight and are to be commended for it. Congrats to Foles and the Eagles for a truly epic win in one of the greatest Superbowls ever, perhaps THE greatest.

The 40-year-old finished the game 28-for-48 with 505 yards, three touchdown passes and no interceptions. The 505 yards passing were the most in Super Bowl history. In fact, there have been three Super Bowls where a quarterback has thrown for 400 yards or more, and Brady has two of them (last year vs. Atlanta with 466 was the previous high). Furthermore, the 33 points were the most scored in a Super Bowl loss, and the 613 total yards are the most in a loss in any game in NFL history. Also, Brady became the first quarterback in NFL history to lose a game (regular season or postseason) with at least 500 passing yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Brady did not deserve to lose the game, but a major reason why he did was the Patriots didn’t have Butler on defense. After playing 97.8 percent of the defensive snaps during the regular season, he didn’t play any in Super Bowl LII. Instead, Eric Rowe was the No. 2 cornerback and even Johnson Bademosi played over him as the No. 3 corner. The Patriots allowed 538 yards, which were the most ever allowed by the Patriots defense under Belichick. Butler certainly could have helped.
