Thanks. I'm making Super Brawl Ultimate Game, It’s featuring some Super Brawl Showdown characters and stages. But can you show me the tutorial from construct 2?

I have three suggestions: Blooregard Q. Kazoo (or Bloo) from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Jake Spidermonkey from My Gym Partner's a Monkey. Rodney J. Squirrel from Squirrel Boy.

And another suggestion is a Nicktoon: Boog Shlizetti from Fanboy & Chum Chum. In fact, I heard that someone also want him, and that his final attack could be the H Bop.

@@victorrodriguezcarrasco3325 yeah but they did say it would be very hard since there are no models or sprites(good ones anyway) for 3d characters and they are very hard to recreate without both of those

most likely either the most recent ones, or the ones used in super brawl 3. i am not super familiar with tmnt, but i do like the stylized animation of the most recent one.

I'll definitely add it to the list of things to consider! I'm holding off all non-Nick characters until after the base roster has been finished, so it might take a while. But I am also a fan so there's a good chance I will get to it c:

@@mattp928 RBUK was in nickelodeon! but that's very nice to hear c: About non-nick stuff, i hope that's what the dlc part of the character select screen is for 😅 since for me it defeats the purpose of the game a bit

@@felicitytherainbowbutterfl7662 oh! i thought it was CN for some reason. whoopsies! and yeah! the base roster is essentially what i plan to definitely finish, and the dlc stuff is for later on when i'm done with all of the main game stuff and am just adding extra characters for fun. think of it like stretch goals yknow?

Don't worry about the essay, I love hearing feedback. Knowing what people think of the game helps me work on making it better. - I've been hearing that King Neptune is too hard, and requires too much blocking. I plan to fix this in a later update, most likely version 0.2.5 or 0.2.6. - Characters have varying HP based on what makes sense for the character, as well as to help balance the game. Characters who tend to have heavy hits, or are slower, have higher HP. Those who are better at being evasive or quick-hitting have less. To fix this I will have to look into altering the movesets of those fighters. - Random button is definitely planned as a future feature. - Spongebob's gimmick is that his moveset changes depending on whether or not he is holding his jellyfish Friend. He's not quite finished yet so his jellyfish form lacks the move that would replace it. - Definitely plan on getting more character clips. It's primarily an issue of finding the right assets. If there aren't a lot of games to pull from, we have to manually go through episodes and pick clips that might work. - Sorry about the Spongebob voices. Classic Spongebob has one unique intro line, but they are otherwise the same. All the lines are pulled from Spongebob video games and I haven't been able to find any that work as character specific. - Kitty is in the process of having her sprites replaced with ones where her eyes aren't looking in two different directions. You'll be happy to know that Charlotte and Vendetta are high up on my list of characters to add in the future. I don't have any specific plans, but they are one of my top picks for a future update.

@@mattp928 Well I'm glad that most of my problems will be fixed in the future. - As a recommendation for Spongebob's voice, maybe have Classic Spongebob have Spongebob clips from the Nicktoons Unite games (Volcano Island, Globs of Doom, Etc) while Modern Spongebob uses clips from his own games (Battle for Bikini Bottom, Cosmic Shake) or have Classic Spongebob's voice clips be clips of Spongebob when angry (It'd fit with how Classic Spongebob overall looks. Like a pissed off Spongebob.) - Yeah King Neptune does require a lot of blocking, and using any character with no ranged attacks is a death sentence. - I hope that choosing the HP for atleast arcade and multiplayer mode can be considered. - Also something I forgot to mention, some characters (like Modern Spongebob) can move before the round starts.

​@@mattp928Hey; it's me again. I really hope there's a feature that lets you change the controls for the game, as the control set up for local multiplayer is...baffling to say the least.

@@MixtoonsStudiosDMC Definitely, though it will take a bit to get it rolled out; as it requires I change some of the foundation for controls and whatnot. It is definitely a highly requested feature, so it is coming for sure. I designed the controls to be similar to MUGEN's local multiplayer layout though I suppose its not entirely ideal.

@@mattp928 Another thing, will there be controller support? I think that'd also minigate the problems with local multiplayer if someone could use a controller.

i would honestly love to do that. i'm not big on animating huge scenes but i know a couple of people who might be able to help...

yes! i won't work on adding it in until a much later update, but it is on the agenda.

lol ive seen him requested a couple times but tbh he's not high up on my priority list of people to add.... maybe someday tho 👀 ive got plans for updates for the foreeable future so we'll see

what version? is it the linux one you're having trouble with?

@@dumdumsponge6568 i had a bit of trouble too. looks like the immediate fix i found was to open task manager, look for NW in background processes, and right click it, and take a look at its properties a few times. eventually it will pop up. not sure why this happens but i'll hopefully have it patched in the next update now that i know more about it

Hey the problem got fixed also I heard in one of the comment sections in one of you’re other videos on super brawl showdown that there is a discord server you don’t mind if I can join?

definitely soon. i don't want to make any exact promises since my life has been hectic lately, but i've been focusing a lot of fixing all of the bugs that have been reported and finishing up the super brawl and xmas campaigns. i also made a bunch of changes to danny and his sprites to make him feel better to play. shouldn't be more than two weeks?

Could you elaborate a bit more? The game is still in early Beta, so locked characters and game modes are because they're unfinished/too buggy.
