This is an excellent game for the Atari Jaguar. Inspired by SEGA's awesome super scaler games like Hang-On and Super Hang-On, Super Burnout is a very fun arcade motorcycle racer.
This was recorded using original Jaguar hardware using an RGB SCART cable and an OSSC in 4x mode. My capture card is an Elgato 4k60 Pro because y'know we need a 4k capture card for 240p/960p content.

I have a very extensive Jaguar collection, and of course there is the excellent new emulator 'BigPEmu', which can run this ROM almost perfectly. Super Burnout is a great game, and a real gem in the Atari Jaguar repertoire. I'm surprised it doesn't get as much praise as games like Tempest 2000, or Alien vs Predator.

Maybe the 3DO version runs poorly using emulation, but it runs great on actual hardware. It's a game that I own. I also own Super Burnout CIB. Like you said, it runs buttery smooth. Many homebrews use Tom & Jerry, while many others are homebrew ports of Atari ST and Amiga games. Piko Interactive have begun publishing such ports. While the ST is 16-bit, the Amiga is 32-bit. It's possible to port such games to the Jaguar without Tom & Jerry (although easier with) by using the Jaguar's Motorola 68000 driving the 32-bit data in two 16-bit bursts. The original Amiga 500 implements a 32-bit model and has 32-bit registers, but it has a 16-bit main ALU and uses a 16-bit external data bus and a 23-bit address bus. It, like the Atari ST, used the Motorola 68000 as it's main processor. Later Amigas used the Motorola 68EC020 which was operated as a full 32-bit processor, but it's compatible with the 68000. AtariAge and Songbird Productions sell these ports as well.

@@PvtHudson You mustn’t have played the 3D0 Road rash. Because it’s fantastic and probably the best 3DO game. Great graphics, detailed sprites, fantastic soundtrack and cut scenes. And plenty of variation and Easter eggs in the game.

@@johnmc3862 I have played it. I've been playing it a for at least a dozen hours a year, every single year, for over a decade. Yea, it's a fantastic game and I love it, but I can also admit that it doesn't have a good framerate like much of the 3DO library.
