I finally got around to adding a french cleat wall storage system to my small workshop. The only problem was I didn't have an extra pair of hands available to mount it so I needed to design my system to allow one-person installation. It worked and you can see the results in this video.

Great book for a beginner . ru-vid.comUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ this book really starts from the beginning, as in it explains what basic tools are and how to use them. But when it gets to the art of creating joints and how and when to use them this book really starts to teach you something. At least that was my experience.

I was impressed when you finished the wall, the frame install was nice and showed your abilities, but when you put your organiser boxes on using the handle that was when it really showed how good you are! Awesome.

The fact that your small parts organizer handles are french-cleat-ready shows how far ahead you're planning. Impressive! I must have missed the part where you put a wire behind the hole for your power outlet.

One thing I like and appreciate about your channel is the fact that you always seem to be using appropriate personal protection equipment when using power tools. Setting a good example by protecting your health is always worthwhile.

Genius! Love the detail and thought given to each independent part that all interconnects together. I call that “pre-fab” and you’re a one man construction crew, very impressive. I recently reclaimed my small 10’x12’ basement space to create a “hobby” workshop for doing smaller projects than the larger space needed in my garage wood-shop and have chosen to do this system on the dividing wall which otherwise would have taken up valuable wall space above my wrap-around work bench. I may even make a couple of cleated stands for my small grinder, 1” belt sander and 3” scroll saw to reclaim bench workspace as well. Thanks for the insight, you’ve got skills brother 😉✌🏼

You are doing such a great job here, but why do you use Phillips screws? You can hear how they turn through and destroy the starmould in the top of the screw. This can make it imposible to remove them later. I always use Tork screws.

Not to rain on the parade (I am a big fan of this channel) but there's this German carpenter that's pretty nifty in a small space. What I like is that this WSJunkie does everything according to my own plan but before I do it myself in my 20ft container. Basically because I am constructing an addition to our small house first before I have enough space in the workshop.
