Charcuterie might just be an adult Lunchable to some but to me, it’s the ultimate party snack, middle of the week lunch, or date night appetizer.
I love how it can be modified to suit anyone’s tastes and it can even easily be geared towards kids. Whether you want it to be cheap and easy or upscale and fancy, here are some Charcuterie board recommendations and ideas:
•Crackers, pita chips, or low/no-carb crackers and crisps
•Pretzels
•Hard Cheeses
•Soft Cheeses and/or cheese spread
•Hummus
•Fruit spreads - fig, apricot, etc
•Honey
•Ready-to-eat meats (even deli meats can work)
•Veggies - bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots, celery, etc
•Fruit - tomatoes, berries, grapes, etc.
•Pickles
•Olives
•Nuts
•Chocolate - candy, fudge, brownies
•Cookies
•Alcohol infused candies (for those over 21 of course)
The possibilities are endless! Think outside the box and use lots of things you already have on hand.
