I'm so glad this came up on my feed.....The card is very pretty. thank you for giving all the detail and rationales for what you were doing and why--it is so helpful for a newbie. An example is when you said the paint stays on top of cellulose paper, makes it easier to lift (both a good thing and also something to be cautious with when layering.) For all the tutorials I've watched (a bazillion), it's the first time I've heard this and it makes so much sense. Again, glad I found you and thank you very much!
Oh Michelle, I’m so glad I came up in your feed as well! Thank you so much for the wonderful comments!! Being a new RU-vidr, I am still feeling my way around regarding what people would like to see and I question if I go into too much detail sometimes. I am so happy that you found my video helpful!!!😊😊
This was the first watercolor card that i made for my parents anniversary and they absolutely loved it. Your designs are so unique and instructions are easy to follow. Thank you.
I’ve watched so many videos to learn, but tonight is the first time I’ve actually painted a flower to my satisfaction. You explain and demonstrate so well. Thank you
Great video! I was very successful and then I did the stems, but the flowers were gorgeous! Thanks for all the feedback! Great tutorial! My first card that I will actually be sending out.
Oh thank you! Yes, the stems, as you saw, tripped me up too. That was one of my first videos so I can tell you that they definitely get easier the more you paint 👍🥰
AMAZING! I'm just a wannabe artist with no natural talent for it. Everything I try is not easy, and looks nothing on paper like it looks in my head. Thank you so much for your instruction. It's simply a pleasure to watch! 😊
Thank you Pam, I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I also received your email and have replied back😊 I really appreciate that you shared your painting with me and it is beautiful!!
Thanks! Great 1st video. just the right pace for a beginner like me and liked that you made a few mistakes and showed how to fix them! Was very helpful :)
This is great! I can't believe that I was able to follow your instructions without becoming frustrated. I'm super happy with my card. I just wish I had learned half as much in my week-long course at art school!
This makes me so happy Lynn! Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment! I’m so glad that my video helped ease the frustration you were having and your card came out beautifully!!🥰🥰
Great video !!! The card is lovely and your instructions are clear and easy to understand. Thanks for sharing that you cleaned up your stems 😊 Looking forward to watching more off your videos !!!
I'm so glad I watched this.. I've seen other tutorials with this sort of basic idea-but Yours was Better, and I learned much more than ..I'm going to do this later ..I'm a Visual learner and I appreciate you taking time to show and explain the technique so detailed. Thank you. I also appreciate that you didn't spend an extra half hour talking about something that had nothing to do with it(no offense to anyone who likes those..but I can't get into those usually) ❤❤ thanks
Oh thank you so much for your wonderful comment!😊 I’m a visual learner too for the most part. I’m so happy to hear that the detail I go into was helpful because sometimes I wonder if I go into too much detail. 😊
This is the first watercolour card that I have made. It’s for my niece’s bridal shower. Such a pretty card and I’m really enjoying learning this new technique. Thank you !
LOVED this. Oh man. I didn't do that well but I can see with practice I can get there. As a total beginner, I must say this was perfect to try. Thank you so much
Thanks so much June! I’m so glad that you tried it and I hope you enjoyed painting it😊Keep at it and I guarantee you will improve quickly! Watercolour is so much fun😁
Thank you so much. As well for the explanations and descriptions and everything. Because it really made it so understandable and I was able to catch up with it easily.
Just decided to try this one again. Just love it and did this one so much better than the last one. Your teaching is purrrrrrfect... The end result not purrrrfect yet but I am going to practice again.
Oh I’m glad you improved in your 2nd try June! This was one of my earliest watercolour attempts and I had to do a few until I was happy with my result😊
I was trying watercolors some time back and was frustrated with how I do get what I wanted. But this tutorial inspired me to give it one more chance before I give up completely. I'm surprised how that came out so beautifully. Thanks you so much for this detailed tutorial❤️
Oh that makes me so happy to know that I’ve inspired you to keep at it! It really is such a fun and relaxing medium. Don’t stress over the struggles and details; just enjoy and you will see great improvement before you know it😊😊
