Honestly this car is the most thrilling experience for me in iracing right now. The ots makes battles interesting, it has incredible grip that always makes you feel like you arent quite at the limit of whats possible and there is enough power for there to be some raw slides

If you aren’t, definitely watch the actual super formula races. They’re absolutely fantastic. I tend to enjoy them more than a lot of series I check out.

The telegraphing of P2P being on from both the roll hoop and the rain light make it one of the better systems, in my opinion.

In my honest opinion this is what makes racing fun! Unpredictable circumstances in public sessions, funny moments like driving the new cars day 1. It makes sim racing feel alive.

What an early Xmas present this was! Never saw this coming, might have to drop the Ligier this season to make room for this. And seeing the early F1 liveries is cool, it looks from the front like a 2020 F1 car. Bravo iracing 🎉

Its very similar in a lot of ways to the Mercedes W13 but.... way more fun and slightly easy to drive than the Merc. I can see this being very popular in Season 4.

Push to pass tips. The green roll hoop will flash if enabled. As well as the rain light Also no limit on how long you can use overtake so try to save it up for the end and using it all for the final lap

Yeo discovered this when watching the race back. Also when you have less than 20 seconds remaining, the roll hoop will flash red instead of green

It’s at least 2sec faster than fastest recorded 3.5 lap at Suzuka, that’s before iracing slowed down the 3.5

Now there is probably an element of it being final lap. But using push to pass for the entire lap you gained about 2 senconds on p1

Yep that is the difference pretty much of a non boosted lap compared to boost. Definitely a strategic game is gonna be played with that system throughout races

Hey which Corsair Headset is that? I have the Corsair Virtuoso XTs that have broadcast quality mic and I am going to start another RU-vid channel like yours soon and I'm wondering if you have ever tried using your corsair mic for your vids and if so how did it come out? Edit: by the way do you have the tire noises turned up in game? Great race by the way, this new iRacing build looks awesome!

turn tires up to be able to hear when you’re on the limit. in iracing if you can hear your tires screeching either in the braking zone, through the apex or on the exit you’re on the grip limit if not, push harder. i learned this one from a suelio and cameron das yt short. You want to hear the screech through out each stage of the corner.

Yep as the previous comments states I have them turned up a bit extra to get that extra sense of knowing when I am on the limit. In sim racing we lack certain senses than that IRL so need extra help to sense that limit. I use the Corsair HS70 Pro Headset. Had it for a few years now and does the job. A headphone mic has never been good enough for me so I use the Elgato Wavelink (USB mic)

@@stuffeyy Right on cool yeah I just got these XTs and I've been complimented multiple times with the quality of sound the mic creates so I've been debating just using it for the time being. The Elgato mic you use sounds perfect though also. I wonder how much different they would sound between your and mine since I believe Corsair owns Elgato now lol Thanks for the response, my CSL DD setup comes soon maybe I'll see ya on the virtual track lol

Theses new content we need to buy to play it? or there is a "free-trial"??. I'm new into iracing but a lot GT7 with theses cars and i want to see if they are fun like they are in gt7.

You have to purchase this car to play it. The only time you can test drive cars on the platform are when the service goes down for another big update.

3 dots on means Push to pass is activated. 1 dot up means front brakes are too cold. 1 dot down means rear brakes are too cold. All purple means the Push To Pass system is in cool down mode
