This is a film that is fun to watch. Not like the films today that rely on the cgi instead of the acting and direction. Good to binge watch all the Terence hill and Bud Spencer films!!!

Same. I always laughed at the flaws. 1:24:20 for example. "You are under arrest for the first degree myyyyurder". Followed shortly after by the death row break out, in which he lands in the ocean, yet when speaking to the fish, you can see the squares on the pool liner behind the fish. Still fun tho.

What is God's name? Surely you must realize that the word "God" is a made up human word and the same concept is covered by other words in other languages. "God" is just the English word for the concept and not his actual name. How you haven't figured this out yet is just beyond me. And his name was not Jesus. Jesus is a Latin name and not the actual Aramaic name of the person you think you're worshipping. Maybe you should ask yourself who this Jesus that you praise is because the person you think you worship does not answer to that name and never did when he was alive. If you believe that he really lived.

Wow! In High Definition ! This proves that time travel is real! Someone travelled back in time with an HD camera and recorded it. There's no other explanation, other than magic of course!

It was filmed on FILM not recorded on video . 35mm or larger film is high resolution and the only limit to definition is the transfer of the copy you are watching. The quality of the COPY of some old FILMS on RU-vid are impacted by having been copied of a TV broadcast video , and to a lesser extent old transfers to other formats can also impact quality, or use of worn filmstock in making transfers. But other than that , most professional 35 colour filmstock from the late 60s onwards is not distinguishable from later film . Some earlier film is also mostly indistinguishable ( it's just as high resolution ) , but there are very different colour processes that lead to different colour looks in different light so they look " vintage " to a modern audience. By contrast many earlier TV programs were not directly filmed to film , but were made on video (and in pre video TAPE days , that which survives is mostly 16mm copies of projection of live broadcast from TV broadcast cameras ).

For some odd reason this movie has been going under many different names in different countries over the years.. probably due to translation. I have it on dvd under 3 different titles. Its being shown on LG Channels on regular basis for those that own a LG tv.

Seeing this for the first time since the 1980s. Amazing. When I first began watching a few scenes, I thought it was cornier than I remembered it, and maybe not as good. But as I watched it more and more, the little kid in me began to see the value of it again. A cop story made for kids, to be sure, but a wonderful adventure.

My dad had this on VHS-tape in the 80s. We didn´t have many movies so I watched this every other day, I liked this so much then! Anyway, year or so back I saw Don Matteo on TV and remembered this movie, but couldn´t get the name in my head. I spent some time on it, but no luck I couldn´t find it... Untill now, RU-vid algorythm suggested it for me!

This version is missing some of the cartoonish music in the scenes where ODS is making the bad guys flap their arms and the scene where the bad guys are hitting each other in the face. But it makes me so happy to see this movie again.

BUT it’s not the original because I remember there was a different song and him singing a small hymn when he was showing his girlfriend and the sarge his power and then him actually talking to the fish and the song when they hit him with the guitar!!! I forgot this movie since I was a kid. I knew his name was Dave, the movie had something to do with Red, I remember the pool hall scene and the traffic manhole scene. I remember that he could run fast. Not a lot to go on. it was not the greatest American hero. It was not super Dave! Both are great things to watch. Then today my brother Tony said hey remember that movie? Right out of the blue. And here it is. Good thing my brother has a better memory.

Fun one to watch, and nice story line as well. His western ones are a real hoot.... This was one of the first ones with Terence Hill that had the sound in sync, however the sound was still not great but good enough. My guess is at one of the earlier points the sound was boosted but overloaded the next amplifier stage.
