SWV had classics for days. You can't say '90s R&B without these three. Should've been bigger. The remixes were far better than the original. Long before Diddy and them took it to another level. Coko's voice is pure silk. And these ladies _still_ look great!!! Long live '90s R&B. #90sRnB #SoulTrain

As much as Coko knows she’s the Lead,she respects Taj and LeLee as her peers and not just “others” like we see in other groups. They all seem like alpha females in real life and even when Coko went solo it wasnt nearly as successful as the group. I like that they never played with their chemistry and added/subtracted anybody or had a long falling out,they always show up for their fans.

True story. My brother was born with the gift of sight and when SWV first video came out called Right Here, he said, those girls are going to be BIG and will be around a long time! almost 30 years later, we see that he was right! Long live SWV.

Coming from a Heavy Metal fan at heart, I take great fondness for SWV. They were important because they were among the earliest R&B acts to blend this very unique freestyle/street vibe into their music. It was something which at the time was entirely new, virtually unheard of in that particular genre and worked to their advantage when they put out their debut LP in 1992. Hats off to them for doing what they did.

Words can not begin to describe how awesome it is to know that their music resonated with everyone of different backgrounds etc. This comment means a lot to me (a major SWV fan), but I’m sure it will mean a lot to them as well if they were to ever come across it. 🙌🏾😘 And you are correct, many people do not know that they were actually the first artists to sing harmonies and lyrics on top of Hip Hop/(New Jack Swing) beats and tracks. This is why an SWV biopic is very much needed! These girls are legends and they deserve to have their stories told.

I grew uo with SWV among many other artists, but SWV was the one! I remember they were the ones who made long as finger nails the thing to get back in the day! I love y'all soo much. the 90s were my teenage era. I remember asking mymama to go to Kmart to buy the first SWV cd. it was $13.99 and that was expensive back then lol. but she bought it for me and I played it over and over .

In 92 I was 3 yrs old singing RIGHT HERE for my life!! And I LOVED ME SOME MICHAEL MUTHAPHUCKIN JACKSON oh Lord 😩❣️🤷🏾‍♀️ I literally wanted to be everything like swv. I come from a family full of light skinned women so these lady's were/ARE queens to me. ❤ Coko nails .lelee style and taj hair was always on point. They remind me of my mom and her 2 sisters in 100 ways. These lady's were my 90s history.

Even Coco is big headed and at times puts the group in bad situations cause she knows the other two girls depend on her since she's the lead singer, at least they are still together after all this time.

She do BUT they keep her grounded. A lot of times I feel like its very evident the female lead on stage is the female lead off stage but both LeLee and Taj seem like alpha females in their own right. They dont seem scared to humble Coko when need be. She tried going solo too and it wasnt nearly as successful as SWV,she knows where her bread is buttered thats why we’ve never heard of a break up or long term fall out with them.
