The armor values on the hull are incorrect along with the mantlet armor. The lower front plate does have the correct armor just not angled properly. in truth it should be about 50 degrees if I remember correctly.
Got killed by a panther 2 earlier thanks to this. He exclaimed "the 88 will pen anything at its BR". Maybe if it were modeled correctly I could've shown him otherwise
The jumbos are fun like hell for a reason, nothing like having a tank that actually works like a tank. Same reason I love the Panthers, Yeah the German team is usally over lobotomized and melts like a soft serve ice cream in the middle of summer whenever they meet anything That gives them more than token resistance, But hey that's balance for you, Americans have tiny guns and Germans have teammates that Make AI seem like genius master strategists.

i recently got back in to the game and i cant tell what BR im in anymore. the BR's are so jacked up now that my American lineup is now 1.7- 5.7. it was originally 4.7 a few years ago when i left.
to be honest I don't think it needs to go to 6.7, it doesn't have the gun or the armor comparable to the tiger 2 H. The m26 and 76 jumbo just need to go down to 6.0.
@@steveshumate1983 honestly this thing should for the most part be immune to the long 88.As it is now with the incorrect armour values 6,3 is good for it.If they fix its armour it should go up to 6,7.Or if they give it its heat round which it apparently had.
@@Fallenking223 Why can't the Americans have any effective heavy tanks man? The super pershing is effectively useless from repair cost. The T34 has a reload rate that allows it to be shot twice by an 88 before it's done. And the Jumbo got uptiered until it's armour is worthless. Now finally the US has a heavy tank that can be played like it's a heavy tank. and everyone wants it at 6.7, even though it can't even frontally pen the Tiger II H. meanwhile, it's lower front plate can be penned by anything including 5.3's
@@Gary_The_Metro I’m saying this thing should be uptiered if they give it the correct armour values. As it is now 6,3 is good for it.Besides it should have APCR right?You can pen the mantlet of the KT with it.
yeah is seems like a vehicle that should have access to HEAT. If the fix its armor and give it a HEAT shell they would be able to balance it more easily.

If we say WW2 and saw combat , half of the Russian and American tree would be gone . The T26E5 was a prototype , it's good for 6.3 . The crazy thing is that they actually made the front plate flat compared to how it actually was IRL. So to be exact this thing has a better upper plate but somehow we got this due how Gaijin coded it
OMG, wehraboo tears are delicious. 😆 I was watching Spookston's video on this earlier today and he claimed Gaijin actually got some of the armor values and angles wrong or this thing would be even more of a bunker.
Sorry but they can't pen the ufp of the super perishing nor the T34 at all nor the T95 with long 88 or even Jagtiger. And of you go down further the tiger 1's can't pen the jumbo's except for the machine gun port, and panther needs to aim for machine gun port too, they can only pen the ufp at less than 500m and the need to make sure not to be off by a slight angle. The myth of Russia or Germany being point and click is wrong, it's spread by freeaboos like oddbawz
The thing about this tank (at least according to my thinking) is that at 6.3 its a direct upgrade to the jumbo, minus the stabilizer. When it inevitably gets moved to 6.7 it'll be an almost direct downgrade from the sPershing. *Hopefully*, and this is the most wishful thinking, this thing will remain 6.3 while the 76 Jumbo goes back to 6.0
I realy doubt that it would remain on 6.3 because the tank seems to good for that. I can imagine it as a good alternative to the sPershing at 6.7 though with a bit cheaper repair cost and as a tank you use after the sPershing is destroyed. But imagine this thing in a downtier at a 5.3 battle xD
Or gaijin makes the repair cost so extremely high that you dont play it because you loose money in a good battle when you loose the tank. Something like 20k-30k silver lions xD
@@Gary_The_Metro a tiger 2p has way less turret armor but turret armor is whats more important then hull armor, a tiger 2H cant be downtiered to 5.3. the comment wasnt talking about a downtier not being op for other tanks but that it would be a very nice round in this tank.
Hey odd!! I've been playing 3.0 German lately and it's just been too much fun😅 After a few stressful games I just hop into my German 3.0 line up and just have a blast, I recommend you give it a try!! Maybe even invite a few friends.
Totally get what you're saying. German 3.0,is my relaxing BR, when I just want to have fun, plus I can make quite a lot of SLs too.. Recommend the Panzer 3 N premium. Great fun👍
Sorry bud, the Firefly V and the Wyvern are orders of magnitude better for CAS at 4.0 and are far more useable in A2A engagements. I do however love the Brigand for Air RB, no ordnance load, bomber spawn and a BR range full of German bomber spam. It’s my secret silver lion printing machine xD
@@fenriders7008 not really for strictly CAS tho. Brigand has 2 500 pound bombs and 2 individually dropped 1,000 pound bombs, along with 16 RP-3s and nose mounted mk5 Hispanos. Ik that the Firefly and Wyvern have mk5s as well, but neither have them nose mounted and have such a good ordnance load
@@flamepanzer1767 while I agree that the individual bomb drops are a big advantage, the placement of the rockets so far apart on the wings makes them more difficult to aim than when carried on the FFV and Wyvern in my experience. The flight performance on the two single engined planes is far superior both before and after ordnance is dropped. It’s six of one and half a dozen of the other IMO. I can usually guarantee 4-5 ground kills per sortie with either of the single engined planes while retaining some A2A capability. I don’t use the cannons for pounding usually, I prefer to get my ordnance off of the wings and then re-arm, TTK with cannons vs anything but lightly armoured targets is too long for me to justify. To kill anything heavier you need to be coming in steeply and I find it’s an invitation for the Wirblewinds to open up. Now if the Brigand didn’t increase in spawn points after my Wyv/FFV has flown out I would 100% have it in my GRB lineup too.
@@rain-er6537 you can also flank with tiger and panther and there is no excuse of the T3485 beeing 5.7 with pretty much the same armour as the 3.7(or 4.7) version and the same pen as the 4.7 version. But yes sure the Panther with better armour and way better canon and comparable mobility is at the same br 5.7(and one at 5.3). The only real reason why german vehicles like these are so low in Br is their players (atleast most of them are rather dumb or inexpierienced)

Thanks for doing a video on this bad boi. I love this tank for its armaments, armor, and its looks. It just looks and feels like how a tank of that era should be. Its a heavy but moves more like a medium imo.
what’s funny is that they fixed the armor and the angle of the lower glacis but they didn’t actually change the 3d model for the tank. If you bring up the armor profile and angle the tank sideways to the camera and hover over the lower glacis, the stat card says it’s angled at 54 degrees but the plate on the actual model is still at like 40 degrees or whatever it was before they fixed it

The way to to fix the BRS is to lower the 76 jumbo. Put m26 pershing and t25 at 6.0 Jumbo 76 to 5.7 T20 to 5.3 or 5.7 76 m4a3 at 5.0 76m4a2 at 4.7 with the m4a1 76 coz the only difference is welded hull and 10 horsepower. There fixed
