@@isaactorress well there's a difference between an out of factory spec race super/hyper car with light mods vs. a shop modified/tuned street car. Tanner Foust put it best in the video
They are not in the same class as the modified street cars though so it doesn't impact anyone else. Also, the story behind some of those cars isn't that different. For example, Jenson Little in the silver Norma LMP car set the fastest lap of all time for SLB this year. Jenson has competed at SLB in three different cars ranging from a Street Evo that he won Street class in with no aero, a badass custom wide body NC Miata with a 2.3 Turbo swap that he podiumed in Limited class with, and that LMP car is a 20 year old spare chassis he bought for like $150k (which aint cheap but its way less money than a lot of the other cars have in them). He completely tore the thing down and put a custom twin turbo Nissan Titan truck motor into it in his own garage with basically a 2 man team and is the driver as well unlike the Pro-Driver in the Mclaren and Porsche etc. So he's every bit of the proper Time Attack story.
