Beautiful scape and a sweet little cat. I’m in heaven! Does Ray have any tips for keeping an open topped tank with a cat? One of my cats ignores my aquarium, but the other is a murderer of plants and fish!

George, that mystery orchid might be an Oncidium. The oval 'bulb' seems characteristic for them. Awesome video as always!

One thing people should learn from this video is PATIENCE. I am sure most people cant do a tank like this because lack of patience, this is a 3 years old tank. If you do a low tech no filter tank it gonna take at least 6 months to even started to settle.

how do you stop biofilm on a no filter tank like this?

Ray mentioned he had a filter for the first year. After the tank mature with this little soil and that many healthy plant I dont see how it can have alot of biofilm
