Maybe we'd get to see the glares Jon has to give Chuggaa, although I think it would remove the fun of imagining what they are doing. On top of that it's overdone, and wouldn't add a whole lot if it was, maybe some GIFs...

Zelda Harkinian same here i find chugga hilarious but i probably would do the same although i kinda wonder what she did hit because that sounded legit and quite painful
I LOVED the final boss in this game. Chugga brought up NSMB Wii and it felt a lot like that with you running from a powered up Bowser. The design of the stage itself, Bowser's design with the cat power up, and his use of the double cherry really made this super memorable.
.Blaze. This whole game was incredible and at least in one of my top 5 mario games of all time. It's the first Mario game that has legitimately surprised me and it did so MULTIPLE times. Sure, a lot of people weren't fooled by the whole World Castle thing, but I actually was. I legitimately thought there were only gonna be 7 worlds and they were gonna try and hide that fact by making the final world "World Castle" instead of "World 7". That made World Bowser a legitimate surprise to me. And it didn't even stop there because then it leads to World Star, which was to be expected as every Mario game has a special world, but the surprise comes from the fact that you unlock Rosalina as a playable character. And even more, you unlock two whole extra worlds, World Mushroom and World Flower. And even beyond THAT you still have the World Crown levels. This game has WAY more content than it looks at first.
I'm a bit sad all they did was complain throughout the final boss. :C I know it isn't hard, but the music and cinematic is quite amazing and probably one of the coolest scenes in Mario ever.
I will admit the fight is a bit less interesting when you rematch with it or when you are good at the game, but first time through (or coming back to the game after a while) it doesn't really quite deserve the sheer flack it got.
***** That was mostly Emile complaining, I was getting a little mad and I wanted him to shut up, considering this is one of the most epic moments in the whole franchise, the music, setting and the concept was just so good.

Surprised how you spent the second half of the boss battle ranting about this battle and not at least saying ONE SINGLE WORD ABOUT THE AWESOME SONG PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND!
To Chugga: If they were destroying the ground behind you it would just be the Giant Bowser Chase from NSMBW all over again. And I imagine Nintendo felt that with everything going on, if the camera and actions weren't slow, people would be overwhelmed.
Bowser is being smart! He actually uses the power ups that we've been using in our adventure against us! Its like when he's doesn't have Peach he becomes this smart, intimidating villain! I wish he was like this more often and not just kidnapping Peach all the time. This is one of my favorite final Battles against Bowser in the series.
As the explosion sent him flying away, Meowser once again shouts, "Why do I keep having these things instaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllled?!" Hope you don't mind if I borrowed that line since no one said that when Bowser lost.

Honestly, I thought this was one of the better Mario final bosses. A bit slow maybe, but at least it wasn't just plain ol Bowser. Or really big Bowser or something.

Fun Fact: If you unlock Rosalina and play through the final boss again she appears in the credits. And if anyone says "spoilers", this game is roughly a year or two old and Nintendo revealed her themselves.
I agree that the final fight was a bit anticlimactic. I was expecting an actual fight at the end, all of this build up and then it's just "hit the pow block three times" infact you can't lose at that unless you wait for the clones to attack you. The setup and idea was awesome, but the whole "autoscroll and don't die" thing ruined it for me.

I thought the whole final boss sequence was honestly amazing. Don't understand any of the hate lol. Definitely better than NSMBU's but I will agree NSMBWii's was pretty good.
I had the same reaction as Tim, cracked the meowser pun with my friends, and they asked if that was his real name, so we looked it up and sure enough. Nintendo knew.
I wonder how the fanbase would react to the idea of: Chugga getting up and beating up Masae (for little reason), while Jon and Tim don't do anything to stop it and instead kind for half laugh at the situation. To the point where Masae continuously asks to not be hit and the only defence would be a flimsy message that says that there was no violence and yet wouldn't try to explain what was really happening when we heard the noises and says that it was written by Masae. just a thought.
Giga Bowser should be in a Mario World game as a boss fight. That would make it so satisfying. Heck, put in a Challenge Mode in a Mario World game, not just in the latest Mario and Luigi games. Maybe another health bar mechanic like Mario 64 too? ._.

At the end of the credits when it had the "EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Satoru Iwata" I actually cried a little... on the inside of course, RIP Iwata, you'll forever be missed :'(
