That red thing isn't a hidden object. It's actually just the floor trap to access the first Bowser level partially loaded. Since the most CPU intense thing in that room is an actor with an animation script AND a loading zone, that was likely preloaded so that there wouldn't be a long load time when entering the large star door. Still, nice find, I never knew you could see that from the Cool, cool mountain room.
it only changes two levels. if you jump in the bottom half the level is like low-mid full. if you jump in the top half its completely full. hope this helps.
There are way more warps in the game. For example in Wet Dry Land there's a column from the ground that in just he right spot at the bottom will warp you to the top of the cannon platform making the "Shocking Arrow Lifts" star an easy drop and ground pound.
You can do a painless fall without a ground pound. Run towards an edge, press a and then b to go into a slide, just before the edge to do a flip and mario will flip and fall off the edge but wont take any damage when he lands on his feet at the bottom
4:55 it's not a letter. It's only the Bowser trap to enter into level "Bowser into the Dark World". Then a lot of things you called secrets aren't secrets because Toads speak about that.
el truco de que el reloj se detenga es que manecilla grande este en el 12 (cuando se entra al nivel) ;) --- the trick that the clock stops is that large hand is at 12 (when you enter the level) ;)
i remember id played the game fuckinh much as a kid and i couldnt find the flying hat thing.. i was at like hour 500 when i got the ability to fly from looking up when entering the castle. crazy game ahead of its time.
I think the hidden letter might actually be the two floorboards that drop into Bowser in the Dark World, since that room is right at the top left of Cool, Cool Mountain's room.
Lol your doing crazy shits and killing mario in the process. Thats so funny. I laughed so hard when you were shooting for the island in the sky but mario hit his head on the wall.
I love they put yoshi in the game but what Good does 100 lives do after you get all the stars they should have had a bonus lvl or something with him in it
i'm watching this like it's 1996 and the "hottest" boy band at the time was N'Snyc talking about what they bought for the parents for Christmas on the radio. Why do I remember that, but forget more important things? 🙁
+Miragus You can climb on the castle roof before 120 stars, but there's only 3 1-Up, and the wing cap ( if you stepped on the switch ) but Yoshi need the 120 stars to appear
Also, they say that, if you play the game on Christmas day, on the year it lands on a friday the 13th, at exactly midnight, and you use the first warp in bob bomb battlefield, it takes you to a secret location where all of you dreams and fantasies come to life. But then an evil leprechaun comes to your house to kill you.
About the impossible coins I understand they are posible to get. They are the coins that you can get as small Mario o normal Mario. But not sure if anyone has checked on this.
@@Mr100Rupees lol yup I was 10. I could probably play Mario 64 today and still remember every little trick though and get 101 stars in a day. I definitely need to get an N64. I still have one but the wires were all chewed up by my dog
@@Mr100Rupees it's definitely worth hooking up to play...I just played Goldeneye over a friend's house not too long ago. Still an amazing game all these years later haha
Many years ago my brother did a trick to get the 120 stars. He pressed a combination of buttons on the main screen where Mario's head appears. He didn't tell me the combination and eventually he forgot how to do it. I still hate him for not telling me how to do it.
what was the point of the clock deal? was he just showing that the hands change the time? you have to know that to get most of the stars, i was waiting for a platform down where he kept dying. was the secret that mario kills himself in the clock?
Hands down most the glitched-out game of all time. It's almost like a prototype. When you combine it with the old Gameshark it becomes even more apparent.
