The Overworld theme still brings a tear to my eye. (I first Super Mario Bros. when I was 5. My sister would kick me off due to my constant sobbing) I wasn't scared or sad. It was just....too beautiful. :*)
It was a tough level, you had to push that button repeatedly. The music still stresses me out, same with the star man music, underground level and the castle music
Mario is a 35 year old plumber who lives in manhattan and has hallucinations about mushroom people and his girlfriend which he doesn't have being a princess as well as the fact that he thinks he sees a giant bipedal fire breathing turtle named Bowser with spikes on his shell that he kills constantly but always comes back... and I love him for that. Happy 35th birthday Mario. I hope you live on forever

Shigeru Miyamoto not only altered the future of gaming, but actually changed the concept of ‘value’ for all forms of entertainment. And, in the process, changed my future-leading me to become the game designer I am today. I feel the game truly deserves to be hailed as one of mankind’s greatest inventions. The game’s design, sense of fun, interactivity, and cerebral philosophy have made it the forefather of every game that has come since and of every game yet to come. Super Mario Bros. is the equivalent to the big bang of our gaming universe. If it were not for this blindingly spectacular creation, digital entertainment as we know it today would not exist. Es increíble la poca cantidad de elementos y lo realmente completo que puede sonar la composición, apenas ando escuchándolo pero por primera vez a fondo y es muy interesante el figurar el origen de la música sintética en esos días.

I *LEGIT* played this VERY GAME at my uncle's place, back when he had a working NES. I was circa 2004, when I was only *4 YEARS OLD* but it was the start of a lifelong love for video games.
This Game and Nintendo NES is the reason its all started as a Gamer in my Childhood thanks to my Mom🙏🏾 she buying it for me and my Sister Thank you Mom🥲♥️
