Wasn’t expecting the Final level to use EVERY wonder effect

This feels like DJ octavio but weird

I loved how the end of this game turned to a music stage. Plus, i love how a little of everything came back throughout the stage before Bowser. Dope game!

I love how when occasionally Bowser just starts pumping up the crowd in the background I can't help but imagine him doing that to Pump Up The Jam by Technotronic lol

Fun fact if you equip peach or the invisibility badge on the bowser fight bowser will say secret dialog like “MY BELOVED” or “I CAN SEE YOU” like that

Loved this final boss! Bowser jamming to the music in the background, having to jump at the right time to hit Bowser (and also his hands), the music is BANGING, and buildup to the fight is really well done with the crowd chanting before you arrive to the arena. This boss is what we may not have expected, but it's a fun time, especially doing this with no badge and only small form (meaning you can't take a hit).

After years of having 2D Mario games being way too similar with each installment, I think this is something the 2D Mario genre DESPERATELY needed. The final result, being absolutely fantastic (but this final level is kinda hard. It took me like 20-30 minutes to beat lol) 👏

"letdown of a fight" Guarantee yall would cry if it were the same structure as the fights from NSMB Wii, 2 and U. And then people wonder why games never try and innovative to a larger scale.

Bowser gave us a great show!! Greatest videogame villain ever. Beat him on my first try though. I was also expecting to fight the entire castle itself.

I like how nabbit used to just steal stuff and you gotta capture him and now he joins mario and the others to save the world, hes turning into a hero

Now I understand why you turned the talking flower as a silent flower 🌺 so that you could concentrate for finishing the final level and the final boss. You even managed to finish it without losing a life, congratulations! 🎈

I like how none of the final 5 levels have any lava. The final levels in every other 2D Mario have lava, so Nintendo's trying something new this time.

tbh y’all are complaining cuz you want a ‘fair’ challenge. If it’s too easy, you’ll complain. If it’s too hard, you’ll complain. There is NO middle apparently with it being medium as y’all always want a challenge. Yet the company produces an either too hard or easy challenge and again, more complaints. There is literally Special World if you want that challenge, even a secret final level for people who are very dedicated. I do get that the floating hands, floating boss is somewhat unoriginal, but it’s a lot better than having no changes to the final boss like just Bowser on its own. Although the final boss can be underwhelming, you still have Special World and a few other levels in world that have a good challenge in them.

The shifting end stage reminded me a lot of the shifting final stage in R-Type Final 2, it’s rare to see one stage continuously change in such creative and unique ways.

By FAR the best music in the game. My jaw dropped upon hearing this, and it fits the atmosphere of the final area perfectly. Not to mention the levels themselves are some of the coolest in the whole game. This melody and instrumentation just goes way too hard man

We've had some crazy final boss battles! Especially like that one time you were posessed by the evil tenis racket Lucien! Bowser: Oh! You had to bring that up! Mario: And there was that one time when you teamed up with Paper Bowser, and that other time we fought inside a volcano, and that other time we fought in space and- Bowser: OK! OK! I get it! Look! I know we've had some crazy final boss battles! But you don't have to recall every one we've had. Mario: I know! But I couldn't help it! Bowser: Look! We'll talk about our past final boss battles later! Right now let's focus on this one! Mario: Works for me! This will be better then that time we fought on the moon! Bowser: Good greif!

The bassline at the beginning of the bowser fight reminds me of enter sandman

The final boss seems like a boss battle against Bongo Bongo or Gohdan from the Zelda games of Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker

The entite fight was just Mario pushing Bowser's buttons.

This whole fight is very similar to the final boss of "Donkey Kong Country Returns".

Both Bowser and Bowser Jr. had menacing voices when they had Wonder flower powers. Really hoped for a more challenging fight like how DS had when fighting both Bowser and Bowser Jr. at once. Shame Nintendo.

This is a major improvement over the last games! This final battle with Bowser is a music battle concert where the player(s) and Bowser go with the beat of the music and the player(s) hit Bowser’s weak point at the right beat, instead of dropping the bridge to cause Bowser to fall.

Gotta admit I love this Bowser version being a showrunner. I was expecting something really crazy because of the Wonder power, but this surprised me in a very good way. For me, Wonder set up a very high standard for the next 2D Mario games in the future.

The pirrahna plants singing remind me a lot of Rayman adventures

This fight glitched out for me, I had to wait a few minutes before Bowser moved on to the final phase

Now this final boss it reminds me of Andross from Star Fox 64 and Star Fox adventures and Gohdan and Bongo Bongo from legend of Zelda Series between ocarina of Time and Wind Waker!

Never thought I would see the day where a Bowser battle has Bowser take the form of having only a head and hands similar to bosses like Andross from Star Fox, I had been imagining that for YEARS though it didn’t look quite like that in appearance obviously.

Thus morning, I have beat the final boss. It took a bit of trial and error on this level to get there, but I did it. Also, I"m not sure about you guys, but I found the final boss to be surprisingly easy. I beat it on the first try and without taking any damage I think. I haven't beat the game 100% yet, but will. But man, what a game this is. It does feel like a breath of fresh air for the franchise. Imaigne if Nintendo adapts this into a Mario movie sequel.
