A complete full game walkthrough for Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins on the Nintendo Switch. This is an instructional walkthrough for how to complete this entire game from start to finish. My mom gave this to me for Christmas when I was ten, with a second hand old grey Gameboy. It was hard times for us, my parents had just divorced and we didn’t have any money. I don’t know how she even got this for me. This game was the best distraction for me and kept me playing for years on end. I’m forever grateful.

I was in a similar boat with the first mario land, we grew up dirt poor and to get a game boy and mario I was blown away by it, and played that thing for 1000s of hours

First mario game I played on a portable handheld. I loved it. Super mario bros 3 was my go to game at that time. So this was a similar looking addition I could take with me. I remember getting 999 coins super excited to get the prize and ended up getting scammed lol

This was such a weird ass Mario game... I remember when this came out and it was so different from the normal Mario tropes... like 1up's being hearts instead of mushrooms, the bells being check points... despite this releasing way after Mario 3 and after Super Mario World on SNES... the changes were odd to say the least.

This game always fellt 'off' for me, even as a kid. The music, I think, was the biggest factor in that regard. The sound design never sounded Mario-like.

One of my best memories is my cousin and I playing this game on the Super Game Boy on Thanksgiving Day, waiting for our Gramma to finish dinner. Particularly, we were playing through the Pumpkin Zone, with the Boos chasing us.

Man, watching the evolution of games for NES and the original Gameboy was cool. They seemed to get better and better through the years until the consoles started dropping every couple years. This from the original Marioland looks so much better. Pretty epic time to be a kid in thiose years.

Well guess what, you can (and already could for over 25 years) do exactly that via ROM download websites and emulators which allow Game Boy games to run on your PC, Mac, Android, jailbroken iPhone or even your web browser! As for Windows emulators, I would recommend BGB for original GB and GBC games, and Visual Boy Advance for GBA games. If you meant to say "Play it with a real Game Boy and the cartridge", well guess what: eBay.

The Gameboy had this and Links Awakening which is a somewhat weird Zelda game. I guess they allowed for more experimentation during development on Gameboy titles or something.

I never pick up the mushroom right before I go round 3 with Wario unless I’m small because if I’m you pick up the mushroom whilst you have the flower power or bunny ears, you’ll lose them and have a quicker chance of dying when hit
