What's so interesting about Super Mario Sunshine is that I love this every since my childhood, so even though I get frustrated with the glitches at times and I believe Mario's movements are not as good without the long jumps and such, I still enjoy this game because it brings back so much nostalgia.
Doing Corona Mountain backwards was one of the most inspiring things I've seen, and probably the best thing I've seen done in Sunshine. Well done Nate! This video was also really good, I'm surprised by how many courses you've cleared, so congratulations once again. For the next backwards episode, I would like to see either Mario Kart Wii or Mario Odyssey.
I screamed in excitement when I got notified that you uploaded a video of my favorite game ever. This was so pure and entertaining. Totally trying this myself!
5:38 -- Noclipping into the Backrooms. 9:05 -- I noticed that during my first playthrough! That's why there are Yoshi egg platforms in this secret course. 18:56 -- That platform reigniting after several seconds also surprised me the first time around!
Spin jumps are actually a lot easier than you think. It only requires one quick rotation of the stick before jumping. Then just hold in the direction you want to go.
This was super cool! Great video! Keep up the awesome work! Here’s my idea: what if you did one of the NSMB games backwards? You would go to the part just before the point where you can’t go back, then start making your way back to the front by doing the levels in reverse order backwards! Sounds kinda insane, but it would work!
tub no edam saw eelem taht metsys emas eht no edam saw emag siht ... hguohT !!!!EELEM TON S’TI Translation: ITS NOT MELEE!! Though the game was made on the same system that melee was made on but...
Re: Pianta Village, Underside Secret: Can't you enter that stage with the rocket nozzle? I think I remember doing it. Maybe with the rocket nozzle you'll be able to get past that first jump.
My predictions for tomorrow's triggered/mind-blowing series How Super Mario World 2 Triggers You, How Mario Kart 7 is Mind-Blowing! How Wii Fit & Wii Fit U Triggers You, How Super Mario Sunshine is Mind-Blowing!
I actually was trying to make a quick hack of the Rico harbor level where the red coin button was at the end so you would need to go backwards through the level
I have to stay I struggled I did Super Mario Sunshine all of the backwards stages and Blake when I tried that Bowser stage it was so hard but I can't believe you actually did that
You should definitely play both the original Sonic games (plus both CD and 3D Blast) backwards. As well as all the Donkey Kong Country games and the normal Donkey Kong games (like DK Jungle Beat, Jungle Climber, and King of Swing).
In the yoshi go round secret, it seems like you might be able to make it to the moving platform without fludd if you do a spin jump dive. I might be wrong, but it looks like you might be able to.
