Super Mario World - SNES vs. GBA | Side by Side 

only cool things about the GBA version is added cut scenes and that Luigi has his SM2 traits.

In my opinion i love the gba version way more. The voice clips, new scenes…playing the snes version without these tweaks makes it feel very hollow tbh

4:23 in the GBA version they changed the color of the S in the word 'start' which was different from the other letters in the Snes :)

I like that the GBA's version Mario looks a little bit bigger and zoomed in, closer to the frame. The Snes version has a feel of highness, and the frame gives more away and works perfectly! But now that I can compare the games side to side, Mario looks very small in the Snes version... Honestly, I prefer more the GBA version, feels more cozy, pocket size. Everything looks a little bit bigger, theres a whole new level of detail.

They changed that part 5:44 a lot to fit the screen and it's a lot easier. You can reach the blocks just by jumping.

GBA colors look washed out and the music hurts my ears tbf.

Bought the GBA version to play on my GameCube. For those who grew up with the game, is it more worth to play this for the first time on Switch online and then play the gba for the feels later?

That seagull sound effect is the same as Loz OOT

SMW was on a 256×224 resolution on snes, while it can display twice that in about 16 colors. the GBA is about 160×144 pixels. how can you play and anticipate anything if you don't know SMW pefectly at this point

A lot of hate for the gba versions of these, you just had to be there i guess.

Super Nintendo version is better. GBA music is horrible.
