I probably would have said Myrtle instead of Malibu if I heard beach as a clue. That one, and Pacifier were incredible. To get those on one clue, I’m speechless. Great $35,000 win.

She was awesome in her own right but it does bear mentioning that she WAS married to Alan Ludden, one of the true legends ever in game shows. Good man to be your hubby when you want to be a good game show guest.

This is technically not the first episode of the bonus round, where the camera takes the partician on either side. On the left, it's the receiver's side (guessing the word), whilst on the right, it's the giver's side (describing the word). It began in late October 1986, and it stayed 'til the series' ending, which was March 1989.

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird the bonus round shares the same name as the show? Why not call it Super Alphabetics? Also, I liked it better when they showed both of the contestants far apart. It's weird having both of their heads right next to each other.
