Thank you for sharing the entire Tournament of Champions. I also agree with comments about gentleman Cullen assisting ladies with their chairs. Mostly all the men on this show were gentlemen. Allen Ludden did it also on his Password shows. 👍
Ok for the Olivia Newton-John puzzle, could it HAVE POSSIBLY been anything else! As soon as I saw Physical, I started singing the song, and guessed her
RIP to all guest celebrities and host. They are all in heaven now 01242024. how people were nice n conservative looking in 80s. I was 25 yrs old in 1985.
This game is great, but a little odd because some of the clues, have the "word" in it. And didn't the woman use "rim" as her clue, when it was the password?? This game is confusing me 😅😅
Well once again!! Another one of the great game shows that NEVER gave away a new car 🚙!! The tournament of champions grand prize--if this were my show would be $100,000 & a new car 🚙!!
@@drummingdanny84 THEY DID?! WOW!! I must have been at school when they did give away cars!!--There,s was plenty of game shows that never gave away cars!!
I love the way that Bill Cullen was a gentleman and he pulled out the chair for a woman that appreciated it. I also thought that Bill Cullen's response to Marcia Wallace was funny. She said "You notice that there weren't any men in the finals." Bill Cullen responded to that by saying "That's because they're too busy making a living working." LOL.
A hurdy-gurdy is a stringed instrument with a grinder; it's not the same as an organ grinder. The hurdy-gurdy looks almost like a smaller version of an upright base or some types of dulcimer. About the size of a violin. An organ grinder is some type of organ, usually a box, or an organ that sits atop a wagon used to pull it. The styles of the organ grinder are plenty, just as the hurdy-gurdy.
