It's amazing what people can extract from the original coding files in games too, like with Pokémon having a really large amount of glitches and revealing that there was indeed a Pokémon Pink Edition that most believe Clefairy was to be the mascot for it.
@@kennethterrell1167 It probably wasn't hidden. Due to the specific commands you have to do, this was probably just a dev feature for testing characters that was never removed
@beaskew88 I wasn't outright stating that this was hidden, I said it makes no sense to hide. However they could have added a simple way to do this through the main menu.
@@kennethterrell1167 Ah, I misunderstood. Sorry! But yeah, I still stand by the fact that this probably wasn't an intended feature and was more than likely for testing. But I am certainly happy that an old favorite still has some secrets to share!
Just never mention it, and things like it can go for a long while... But not forever. I'm still waiting for someone else to talk about the Controllable Ghost Easter Egg in The Sims 1, which I encountered 3 times. I still don't know how to trigger it.
You know how many times i wished this had 2 player mode as a kid?! Ugh me and my brother missed out on so much fun! At least we had street fighter and mortal Kombat. Still play street fighter semi seriously to this day, 30 years later.
Well I got to give you credit!!! This is the first Easter egg in a retro game that I didn't know about... It's been a long time but I'm impressed. NICE WORK 🤘
Seeing you get so pumped about this secret made me so happy. This is the original excitement we all felt when we learned secrets back then. Thanks, Jay!
Bro. I legit have been playing this game since its inception and love it to this day. My mind is blown. In that 5 seconds you still fought better than gabby jay.
I believe this is actually a debug feature. They likely just assigned each of the fighters attacks to the player 2 controller so they could test how combos would work.
No way! Never knew this. On a side note, did Retro Rick ever get around to filming your game room tour video. Been looking out for it since you told me at SEGE.
I never knew that Super Punch Out!! multiplayer secret up until now! I’m definitely buying the SNES Classic Mini just for this! Thanks for showcasing it by the way!
I put all my favorite nes,snes,tx16 on my nes classic...they all play, sound synced, plenty of disk space...if you can't get the snes classic the nes or genesis should work just fine
Boy the satisfaction I would have got to have been able to pick all the characters and let the controller just sit while I rocked all their worlds with the regular boxer guy!
I have an 8-bitdo bluetooth snes controller, and it has 4 shoulder buttons and 2 sticks. And it's rechargeable. You should check it out. Its really well made and was around 40$ a couple years ago
