Now we know that the creation of the London Fancy involved satinettes, I'm thinking that it might just be a matter of time before satinette Norwich birds are introduced into the new London Fancy to get the size up. Time will tell, but we are a nation of size freaks. Great video and well presented as always!

I've seen some in USA. Massachusetts already.... a man by the name of Gabe he bought norwich canaries from England and had them imported and he's bred some satinette over the years.

I think they were somewhat unsettled when in the photography cage, but definitely healthy not ill. They were bouncing in their normal cages

Hi Peter, I don’t have much experience with goldies and their mutations, but my understanding is it that it would be best paired to pied to throw the colours you’re wanting

They are stunning birds, I’ve seen the greens from this line which are split satinette. They are also stunning

Another case of breed hijacking, they should not be described as Norwich or Gloster's, this dilute colour has never existed in foundation stock of either breed. These are mealy cross breed canaries.

Lovely lovely bird pal will u tell me r somebody do u need red eye canary hen to breed with finch to get white feathers in young mules question just to no please
@peterhomer9320
@peterhomer9320 7 месяцев назад
That's what I was told, use a red eye canary hen with goldfinch to get white mules
@OCAVIARY
@OCAVIARY 7 месяцев назад
Hi, I must admit I don’t quite understand the red eyed part people suggest. I’ve been told it needs to be a yellow Dimorphic as they’ve been bred clear x clear for generations therefore more chance of pied/clear mules

Miserable conditions for birds. Look on the Internet in what conditions the birds are kept by real animal lovers. Whoever does not have the conditions to provide birds with a large aviary should not have them. What you are doing is abusing the birds.
