It looks like they've shifted the metas of at least that map and Dorado. They're blocking sniper sightlines on Havana and Dorado isn't gonna be nearly as dive heavy with those stairs
Blizzard loves adding Doors (Roblox), they're probably under a lot of Pressure (Roblox) still after cancelling PVE so they're really trying to (Dress to) impress (Roblox) us with these massive PVP changes. Reinhardt player's are Eat(the world)ing (Roblox).
Widow players pissed themselves that they couldn't make the other 9 players want to bang their head into a brick wall so blizzard felt obliged to give them an apology mythic
map changes really said "fine we give up, you dont know how to play dive characters. fuck it, stairs everywhere" kinda sad honestly, dorado first didnt need that elevator
These changes make dorado a great map for Dive characters, rather then how it is now where leaving spawn as a non dive character leaves you 0 options. There’s high ground everywhere still and monkie/dva will still be meta but characters like Ana have a chance to be played now
The dorado elevator is probably the only L in all of these, and not even for gameplay reasons just aesthetic. Random ass platform elevator just slapped on the side of a residential building?
The last Numbani screenshot, couldn't a lot of characters get up on that just by jumping? Just having bland stairs kinda kills the unique design of the map too imo. Feel like that was the worst map change of all.
I'm probably just doomposting but alot of these map changes feel like a fuck you to LW. Petal doesn't have much use other than a few ult cancels and free high ground, so giving Everyone free high ground with map changed just slaps him in the face
you know watching this video makes me realize how absolutely gorgeous overwatch maps are. like theyre so unbelievably unique and its shocking that blizzard actually did something right
the effort they're going through with map design when all they need to do is rework widow is insane. Someone at blizzard is hell-bent on not admitting how big of a problem widow's design is for the game. Stop with map redesigns and just get rid of widow's one shot. This isn't hard.
@@ignitiondrive9115 Widow is a server admin at high elos. Her one shot has been a problem for years. Hanzo's one shot is actually fair. Projectile takes a lot more skill than hitscan.
@@ignitiondrive9115 how is widow one shot more fair than junk? she can sit 30 meters away on cover and oneshot your entire team and meanwhile junk has to spend all of his cd to get a single kill and die on the middle of the enemy team
