hey stop it with the being mad at your weight! You can always aim at a goal while being happy of yourself in the process, it's not about being or looking a certain way, it's about loving yourself no matter what.
WTG!!!!!!! What the Gold. Guys you are the Guru`s of Arizona Gold prospecting. I was wondering when we were going to get another video. Thank you very much for your great video.
I waited to watch this one and it was quality! Great trip and content. Congratulations on the nuggets they are nice....let me know if you dont like them lol! BOULDERDASH.....if you read this know im happy for you! That must have given you a wide range of emotions.....still! I'll trade you 10 bins of honey crisp apples for it.....thats 8,000 lbs or 16,800ish apples...you have till October to say yes lol.
If in “low to mild mineralization” with shallow ground depth, then working directly on bedrock the VLF will be the best. But with “more depth of ground in higher mineralization” then the PI (4500, 5000 & 6000) is best with a ‘smaller’ Nugget Finder coil, but ‘not’ with the stock Minelab 11” coil which is ‘not’ very good.
Oregon near Greenhorn they found an 18lb nugget and over at Virtue Flatts they found a 7 lb nugget laying on top of the ground and over by Swedish mine off of the middle Fork of John Day river they found a 6 lb nugget there no need yo go all the way to Alaska for big nuggets over in Nevada they find big nuggets also.
Freiken rad.. lifetime find there. Major congrats. You can literally see the weight in boulderdashes hand. Thanks for posting this video Adam! Great Video!!
Love watching your vids! Live in Tucson, but in Quartzsite, Az. , tomorrow(5/3/23) all day... WHERE SHOULD I GO? Please give me an idea of where to hunt. Love you!
Wow…. That is one huge piece of gold!😊 I’ve been following “I brake for bedrock”, for a year or so am ready to buy my metal detector. My son got me a pinpointed for Christmas. I want to start with the latest Fisher Gold Bug 2. And you did an episode on the at Mind Lab 1000. Please suggest where I can buy one or if you sell them. I’m subscribed to your channel, click likes too. I live in the Beaverhead Dillon area in the Rockies, Montana. Big gold area with Virginia City, Banick and Helena. I’m very excited and will be with friends doing it. Thanks for showing your digging and weighing at the end. It’s sooo much fun.
I would recommend the gold monster 1000 . I think Robs Detector Sales sells them ... But if you really want the Latest Fisher Gold Bug 2 , Check with Kellco Detectors
Ok….. I went to Ron detector sales and buying the Gold Monster 1000 and told of your referral. He’s out of stock right now but another order coming in Wednesday May 24. My order consists of a bundle from Robs site. And I got a padded bag. So when I get up the mountain I’ll make a video for you and boulderdash. Thank you for your videos and referral to Rob. He’s a nice man and very helpful. Looking forward to your next video! I’m riding up the mountain with my horse and dog to metal detect and carry. This is Grizzly country.
Hi Adam, Did you try detecting the slopes where the nuggets petered out? Remember the other place. Also, know anyone that want to buy or trade for a minelab 5000 GPX?
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK Regarding detecting over possible mineralized bedrock zones, what detector(s) would you recommend for a relative novice like myself?
Nice gold! I'm jealous! Been out here busting my butt for 4 months and only got a few ounces total but I'm taking the long shots looking for the Virgin spot. Got a question for ya. I saw you guys finding some native silver nuggets. I found some awhile back but am playing heck establishing a value for them. One piece weighs 35 oz. Can ya help a brother out? Be nice to get something for my 300 miles of walking this winter!
The value on silver nuggets is mostly based on how crystalline they are. A blob of silver will fetch spot value , but a beautiful crystalline specimen will fetch much more.
Stacked a Lotta rock like that I have yeah it really helps if you got running water wash the light stuff way. I’ll go out in the worst weather there is just got out the right year you’ll be prepared for it and just move ground answer for a couple weeks and then when it dries out,. Must be active and take a vantage of the water yeah every time you step creates an early every time you move rock stirs the ground up or just a minimal amount of water which most dishes don’t have water in most the time but there are them special times It takes a lot of work to get gold there’s no such thing as he’s gone not like it used to be A lot of digging I cold is down in the cracks on the bed rock. I was raised about seven or 8 miles from the Yuba and the big gold is not on the river 6Thousands are off the hook after market coil all the difference. I’ve been running detectors for gold over 40 years
Pat Denney ~What did you mean by:: GPX “6000s are off the hook aftermarket coil all the difference.”?? Today I received a new GPX 6000 by mail order. The stock Minelab coils (11” Mono & 17x13 DD) have rattling cables inside the coils. Now I want to purchase a Nugget Finder Xceed “or” Coiltek Goldhawk aftermarket coil.
That would be fun. If I had a place to detect for nuggets I`d probably die out there doing it. Snakes would get me. The last real metal detecting adventure I went on I was bitten by a copperhead because I was wearing Crocs. I didn`t know we were hiking deep in the woods to an old homestead.
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK Just mucking around, no disrespect meant 😀. Sorry if I seemed a bit offensive, just tongue-in-cheek stuff. You've got some very good videos and I enjoy watching from here in Australia. Great nuggets! Arizona must be loaded with good gold by the look of it. I'm a little bit surprised that you don't wear leg gaiters to protect from rattlers. All the best from Victoria, Australia.
That’s some great chunks of gold there. That had to be a hell of a rush when you found that boulderdash…. Wow…. great adventure thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼 p.s. I found it interesting that you filmed the out take where you did to throw us off the trail….lol
Its so cool that you show how it is really done. Hit miss targets/re dig/find them again. Well done. We will hit Pizza wash again after the monsoons. Good times.
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK …one last question…my village is completely surrounded by big and small mountains with jungle trees also…and some mountains same like arizona…what u think did I find gold in both mountains
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK I don't have anyone to learn from to me it's exciting it's a peaceful hobby that I have found to enjoy so thankyou again for all that you post
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK You, Boulder Dash and Bill Southern are the ones to blame! I never woulda started if I hadn’t watched years of your videos and got all inspired and stuff. Haha! Don’t worry, if I have my way, I’ll be on a one way plane to Australia one of these years and then it’ll be all yours! 🤪
I'm curious about something guys... How do you go out detecting nuggets like that without worrying about being jumped by a cougar? Are they plentiful out there?
Can't speak for them but I've only ever seen one cat in AZ. I don't worry about them and I detect alone but I got a couple dogs to alert me and I pack. I worry more about my dogs as a lion will make short work of them if it gets a chance. This time of year I worry more about snakes. Just saw a Mohave Rattlesnake about 20 minutes ago which was disheartening because I figured they'd be sleeping this time of day.
@@lronWill Hopefully never! Would probably kill them. Mostly around here are the Mohave and they're the worst of the Rattlesnake for potency. It's all just chances. Most lions want nothing to do with a man but there's always that one cat and they're worse than a bear because you'd never see it coming. They are stealth hunters. Dogs would most likely warn me but sometimes they're off running or hiding in the shade. Could get bit, could get jumped but chances are fairly slim. No fear, just go. I've walked thousands of miles alone and only once had a bad one. Sow grizzly with 2 cubs. That was a bit traumatic but I got over it....for the most part😊
@@argonaught5666 Aaah Ok...I was jumped by a cougar about 5 years ago at 2 am doing survival training in VA. Not as big as the Western cougars but still if I didn't have my shelter protected, he'd got me. Since then Im sort of paranoid of them.
@@lronWill That will do it. After the encounter with that sow grizzly I was pretty jumpy out in the woods for a few years! Every time od jump a deer or elk I'd get all lit up!
