This is where the Nu Gundam budget went to but would it be too hard to just make it's Funnels and Launcher a dynamic kill? Getting Hi-Nu also nets you Beltorchika as a supporter which restores your main pilot SP to full.
Using the I-Field generated by his funnels to protect himself during the Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher is a show of Amuro's tactical skill - he knew that using the weapon would leave him a sitting duck while it was charging otherwise.
I'm gonna be honest, even without DKs the animation is still leagues better than even the base Nu, with a lot of dynamic camera angles, good effects and great choreography. It really does feel like a great improvement over the Nu, DK's be damned.
It's because Arios-san has been animating Nu Gundam since SRWZ2, but stopped in 30 where someone else stepped in to do it for the first time. Meanwhile, Hi-Nu Gundam since X always seems to be done by a less skilled animator. On top of that, Nu has some things over Hi-Nu in this game. Namely, that it has an all range attack and this one kind of doesn't. Fin Funnels sort of feels like one, but it still comes off as more of a Fin funnels move with details than a true all range attack.
The new model looks clean. I just wished this wasn't a DLC unit. I do agree that the fin funnel and launcher should have been dynamic kills. I wish they also added the cutscenes this unit had in X.
@@worldofcorn I think Arios did Nu Gundam animation in previous titles, iirc from Z series till T. but Hi was always lame and crappy because it didn't have the smoothness of Nu.
Beyond the Time is in the premium sound and data pack DLC in the beginning. Not only Beyond the Time, almost original songs with vocals were there. You can even use BGM edit that is a feature of the game to change the music you like for each unit.
A lot of the times, it isn't necessarily budget, but animator. And this animator, while not bad, just can't pull off the level of extravagance Arios-san did on the years he did Nu Gundam. That said, the final attack is beam death on level with some of the AU stuff, rivaling anything Heero or Garrod has done.
Virgin Anime Amuro and Chad Beltochika Children Amuro. Novel's Amuro would be bigger than Anime's. Novel Amuro would be white while Anime Amuro is Japanese.
Do we have to obtain Nu Gundam first to be able to access the Hi Nu? My Hi Nu isn't there even though I've done the DLC mission with amuro as fixed sortie
I like how Hi-Nu and Nightingale kind of flip the script on the design quirks of Amuro and Char's suits. Nu Gundam looks very utilitarian and unfinished - like a lonesome creature made for a single purpose - while the Sazabi is sleek and perfected to its users exact specifications as the "ultimate" ideal of Char's Zeon. Meanwhile Hi-Nu is very flashy and looks more cohesive - as if representing the Federation's wishes for an avenging angel - yet the Nightingale is so monstrously exaggerated and crammed full of weaponry that it doesn't look like it should be able to move, but it moves _FAST._ fast enough to be unstoppable.
The all out attacks looks better than in the previous games but i prefer the hyper mega launcher animation from X and T because it made looks more dynamic also looked like he was shooting while being shoot up
Yeah, they tried to emulate it here too. There are a lot of moments where you can see the I field flares up blocking the attacks, but compared to x more chaotic battlefield look, x looks much better and feels more desperate.
That Mega Bazooka is basically an anti-colony weapon. So yes, it really can be. The intent was for that thing to blow up a huge section of Axis to prevent the worst case scenario, but shit went sideways resulting in the Axis Shock event even in the Beltorchika's Children version.
@@katomamundara8106 The issue is that ever since SRW MX, Amuro has become synonomous with the All-Range Attack. It just feels weird to not have an all out move that's super elaborate.
I like how the Fin Funnel attacks actually transitions into the old anime look and feel just like how Nu Gundam has in SRW X which I played and was like wait it looks the exact same once it goes into last part of the fin funnel attack.
How to put it...I did not like the design and animation of this one at all. For a DLC unit, it is subpar compare to ATX team. Overall DLC 2 animation is much better than the DLC 1 to be honest. Probably had fun with it for 2-3 stage and then got bored with it. Still preferred Didario.
I keep Amuro in the Nu, he gets the unique cockpit cut-ins that don't exist in the Hi-Nu. I threw Char in the Hi-Nu and put Oliver in the Hyaku since he has good spirits for it
There's 5 Getters. Even if we don't play 'em. We see Classic Getter in East Asia Frontline. We see G in the stage we get Shin Dragon (True). We see (True) Shin Dragon in said above stage. We see Shin Getter Robo in the intro stage for Getter. and we get Shin Getter Dragon in the said above stage. Sooo :P.
Wait I just noticed the bird head like truster in the back so this Hi Nu Gundam was Hi Nu Gundam Ka. Version and not the standard one from previous SRW games... BTW from what I know Hi Nu Gundam Ka. Version never appeared in any other games even in G Generation before so it is the first appearance...!!!
The birds head thruster design is actually closer to the original hi nu design. Older srw, specifically srw alpha series and srw d, features the much older hi nu Gundam design. The design we saw in SD Gundam and srw x and t is based on the remake design made in 2008.
@@ZengarZanvolt Which is accurate for the source material. Neo Zeon went out of its way to disable it because the weapon itself was a threat to the whole Axis drop operation's success.
@@tyaty Exactly. People underrate how strong that thing is. It's literally a Twin Buster Rifle or Satellite Cannon class weapon on its own. Infinitely higher power than anything the Nu or Hi-Nu could otherwise put out short of an Axis Shock/Psyco Field event.
Anyone wants to tell me If i'm seeing things? the Mech while being a Hi-Nu Looks A bit Different from The ones in X and T. Especially I think the Backside. Other then that while this didn't have those good looking cuts-in, it has the better Animation... The opposite of Nu.
This Hi Nu gundam is more based on the original design of the Hi Nu, the ver ka version, and the recent real grade of the hi nu gundam. The Hi Nu gundam that was in X and T was based on the redesigned version from 2008. The main difference your noticing is that the new Hi Nu gundam verses the X and T counterpart is that the tail binder and the wing binders has thrusters and vernier added to it, while the X and T model do not. Also the new Hi Nu is a bit chunkier then the previously.
@@notdwaddler2013 I did a mission with amuro in his original gundam. The story with his 2 girlfriend's things. But I still haven't get it. Is it after that?
