Sometimes we just need a sanity break…on-on-one with our sewing machine especially when we are caregivers. It refuels the battery. I have had experience with that as well. Take care of yourself. Thanks for the fun sewing project idea!
The one thing I appreciate so much from your channel Ms. Beth is that you make beautiful things, without pushing products that are ‘a must to have, and buy. You use the seamstress tools which are necessary for every sewing room, but you are of the make do, with what you have mindset.❤🤗🙏
You won't believe this, but my husband(who used to have a pottery business) gave me some cork circles just yesterday. I have been considering what to do with them---and now I know! Thanks for the great idea!😆😅
So many of us are loving, caring, and ministering to multiple generations . It is a necessity for us to take mental health breaks😊. Thanks to Beth and each viewer for encouraging each other, blessings.
That is a great idea. Maybe my family would use them. I have tile like ones but they are too thick for their liking. Great little "thank you for attending" gift or teacher gift.
I have a bundle of cork circles that I got at a thrift shop and now I know what I'm going to do with them! Thank you Beth for sharing your ideas with us.
What a fun project. Caregiving is hard, I am caring for my husband who has cancer and is on hospice. Time to sew is hard to come by. Thank you for taking in your relative. I hope you continue to make time for sewing.
Such a cute idea. I was wondering if you had thought about the possibility of the edges working loose over time? I wondered if cutting the fabric circle about 1/4 in bigger than the cork so you could fold all the edges under and iron them since it has heat n bond This would give a nicely finished edge. And make a small round disc with fabric and iron it over top of the area on the back where the remainder of the cork is visible. Just an idea But like I say. I still love yours. And also , everyone adores the license plate holder I bought from you ❤️
Hello Beth, great video on repurposing your coasters, with scrap fabric. Looking forward to the next video. Also that was kind of you and your family, to care for a relative in need.
It’s funny how I found this video after trying this technique with a larger cork round to use a a mouse pad! Never thought of using it for coasters! Thanks for the inspiration ❤
