Imagine if Smash 6 happens, Infantry and Tanks could return thanks to Advance Wars remake

Infantry and Tanks is the only Assist Trophy I want to be playable. I'm just glad they weren't victims of the Grinch leak.

Infantry and Tanks make no sense on their own, like another guy mentioned, have Andy or Sami who are the COs of Advance Wars summon them for a down b special like Duck Hunt with Wild Gunmen.

I think Ultimate only having 2 promotions was a bit lame and them both being either a semi clone or an echo, Isabelle and Dark Samus. I think Little Mac aged better since he’s neither of those of things, regardless of what a tier list says about his competitive viability.

You say never like there will never be another Smash. Some of the ones you mentioned could happen one day.

All I said was that there were several Assist Trophies that never got the same promotion of being playable characters in a Smash Bros game. And besides, even if there was a confirmation that there's another Smash Bros game on the way, who's to say that it's gonna be as good as Ultimate? For all we know, Nintendo could rerelease Ultimate as a Deluxe Edition much like how they added Mario Kart 8 on the Switch, or make a sequel that has the potential cutting content. Only time will tell.

Very based, Brawl had the best sound design in general, Meta Knight’s sword slashes, Dedede’s hammer bonking, Ike’s counter stance, etc.

@@brandonwilliams6119idk, personally, I found Brawl to have the weakest sound design in series history, and found Smash 4 and Ultimate’s more… flashier sound effects to be a big improvement (though oddly enough, I actually think Smash 64 and Melee had the peak of sound design in Smash history, way moreso than the newer games) I do kinda miss the Brawl assist trophy sound, though

@@jomaq9233 Oh yeah of course I love Smash 64’s chunky hit sounds, an Melee’s too but I’m just saying Brawl sounded great in a lot of areas, while I think Smash 4 and Ultimate have generic sound effects sometimes.

Shadow, Isaac, Samurai Goroh and Lyn fans also disliked too.

These are all great choices. Here are some changes I personally would make. For Byleth, I would have Flame Emperor as the assist trophy, since Sothis is already part of their final smash. It wouldn't make sense for her to be an assist trophy, but to also be in a final smash, but then again, look at Spring-Man. Speaking of ARMS... As a reference to Min-Min's reveal trailer, I would have Kid Cobra as her assist trophy because of the variety of arms he has with them being a longer range than both Min-Min and Spring-Man combined. I would have Jin as the assist trophy in place of Azucena since Tekken 7 Kazuya was used for Smash Ultimate, and Azucena did not exist at any time before Tekken 8. I'd also have Andy Bogard in place of Mai because, like Sakurai said, "Super Smash Bros is for good boys and girls." Plus, CERO and ESRB is strict enough already as to what can and cannot be put in an A rated and E10+ rated game already, and Sakurai already doesn't like the censorship with the work he had to do with Palutena to make her more family friendly, that would mean more work for all parties involved. Sorry if this is a lot. 😅

@chicswag4657 That’s more of an alternate costume than an assist trophy, like a Robin/Corrin/Byleth situation. Other characters and lore have to be involved with assist trophies. All the other characters you've listed are different characters from their respective franchises. Think like a Geese Howard, Ryo Sazaki, or Iori Yagami. Those are all SNK/Fatal Fury/King of Fighters characters. Female Terry is genderbent spin-off of the original Terry Bogard.

@@AdamHPerform06 Hey there smarty, I actually don’t mind Nintendo characters but it depends on the ones they choose, in fact I’d love to see Dixie Kong, Lip, Ayumi Tachibana and Krystal.

Isabelle is a semiclone, just like Luigi, Falco, and Lucas, don’t really see the issue, also, Krystal’s just a way less popular and relevant character, and Zero and Knuckles are third-party characters (and third-party series only got echo fighters for second representatives in the base game, and Sephiroth was likely added in the DLC as an excuse to give Final Fantasy that extra push to actually get meaningful content like music tracks) Also, even the Assist Trophies that do function kinda like playable fighters are not exactly balanced like fighters are, usually having more powerful attacks and way higher jumps

@@AdamHPerform06 while I do think that Mega Man, and especially Sonic really should’ve gotten some sort of second playable character, some people do forget that the Nintendo series are obviously going to have way more playable characters, regardless of overall popularity in comparison to the third-party ones (Ultimate is literally the very first game that allowed third-party series to get two characters, and it wasn’t until Sephiroth that a third-party series got two unique playable characters)

Before I was against Waluigi but After I play Mario kart 8 and Mario tennis I really like his character and I would see get in smash before Geno.
