Ryu and Ken’s is a nod to parrying in SF3. Terry’s is a nod to Just Defend from Garou: Mark of the Wolves. Steve’s is his shield (obviously) Sora’s is his guard stance.

7:49 If you look closely, she does a Serious Expression. Something that you *DON'T* see very very often. it's like she's saying: *_IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!?!?_* but not in the way we do know. More like if she were Angry.... ...totally Angry.

Fun fact: every characters eyes turn yellow when they parry, except zombie who doesnt have eyes

Game and watch and piranha plant too And meta knight eyes turn red because they are yellow by default Might be others that i don't remember

Dark Samus is the only Echo Fighter with a different parry animation than the base character and it's based on a render from Metroid Prime 3 Corruption.
