I know it wasn't in this video, but the fact that Mii Brawler Heihachi meets with Ryu already confirmed some Tekken representation in Smash was sick! Of course it was only the Mii costume, but then Kazuya showing up as Challenger Pack 10 brought so much more... Truly shows we've come a long way
When Ken was announced for Smash Ultimate, I was hyped. I was already hyped for the game with every character from all four games were returning, but Ken sent my hype thrusters into overdrive. And really as the original fighting game clone character and one of the most popular characters in Street Fighter, Ken’s inclusion just made sense. Ryu was insane for sure but this was on a whole other level!
Wud love to see a Streetfighter vs Fatal Fury vs Tekken vs KOF vs Final Fight vs TMNT vs Double Dragon vs Streets Of Rage with some additional characters from DC and Marvel maybe Mortal Kombat 😉 😂
These are the characters that made me continue play Smash. Sadly, there isn't other platform fighters where they have characters designed to play like traditional fighters.

That hasn’t stopped Nintendo from introducing the West to Fire Emblem back in Melee. The west should return the favor by introducing Mortal Kombat to Japanese Players
I know I'm late, but I think the problem of introducing Mortal Kombat into Smash would be the lack of brutality (not the finishers, the actual brutality of the game). That's what makes MK be MK, without it it's pretty much another fighting game, and the fans know that and thus hate censorship. But of course, smash cannot have that since they want to appeal to good boys and girls and thus keep the E10+ rating. Cause Bayonetta only needs her flashy combos, Snake only needs using some weapons and Joker only needs a persona, MK needs brutality and blood.
@@lucaantinori4834 Seeing as how they handled Ridley's moveset, I'm pretty sure they'd handle Scorpion and his violent nature just fine while still staying true to the cartoonish style of Smash. And yeah, I know the blood and gore is one of MK's biggest things that differentiate it from the other fighting game franchises, but I'd still argue that it's characters first and gore second, specially with how so many MK fans seem to prefer the 90's PG-13 MK film over the recent R-rated 2021 one.
Honestly, Darkstalkers been dead for a long time and there were no fourth entry of the series, and Morrigan gonna figure out to bypass the "Good boys and girls" detector.
Hsien-Ko could work for Darkstalkers (I mean Morrigon and Felicia can't, I mean you know what happened to Mai Shiranui's attempted inclusion) Scorpion or Sub-Zero are obvious main choices Killer Instinct? Honestly I am not too sure. They could add Orchid, TJ Combo, Sabrewulf, Fulgore or Riptor if anything.
@Golden Toilet Man That's different, Mother 3 just wasn't released in the US, and they WERE actually gonna bring him to the US in Earthbound 64 but it got cancelled, Mortal Kombat on the other hand used to be available in Japan but then it got banned entirely from there. There's a huge difference between a game never being released and banning a franchise.
