We tried to focus the origin clips on the games that feature the heroes who are playable in Smash. If the animation of a move seemed to reference multiple games, both were shown. Anyway, what would you like to see next? :)
Do Ganondorf, I'm sick of hearing people say he doesn't represent his games. Look up "F-Zero Pilots and Demon Kings fight alike" to see a list of his references.
If you set Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to Japanese, Hero has a chance to shout out a spell name. The spells they are shouting in Japanese are Mera, Merami, Merazoma, Dein, Raidein, Gigadein, Bagi, Bagima, and Bagikrossu. They all translate to Flame, Blast, Megablast, Bolt, Thunderbolt, Gigabolt, Gale, Tornado, and Aerocross.
Oh shi- i posted the same comment 3hours ago and here i am noticing that someone posted this before me. Welp time to delete my comment uwu! Well played friend
Clay I’m not sure if it’s just because I have great internet, but I’ve played thousands of online matches and I very rarely have lag. Like once every 100 matches.
MyCause IsJust Smash changes a lot of the spells by turning them into projectiles instead of leaving them as "hit scan", in other words the spells automatically appear at the enemy's position instead of being projectiles that have to reach the enemy before doing anything similar to how guns worked in old fps games like Wolfenstein or Strife where rather than a projectile being shot, the enemies simply instantly felt the damage of the gun without an object flying from the player's gun towards the enemy. In the case of the Allahu Akb- I mean "Kamikaze" spell, he doesn't blow himself up as you would expect, instead he conjures up an explosion which instantly happens at the enemy's position then he instantly dies due to the spell costing his life force.
Yep, plus like you pointed out with ironize/kaclang, a lot of the skill names have changed over the years. Especially the names of spells in the NA versions of the NES games. Gotta say though...i did like the straightforward nature of some of the old names. “HealUsAll”...whats it do?😂
You missed one *When Hero blocks a projectile with his shield during idle animation or side B* _That can be found in DQ9 and DQ11 where shields have a chance to nullify an incoming hit_
@@R-Otaku747 there's two diferent things on the game, defend is an option to lose your turn and you still receive a little damage. And block is randomly blocks completely the enemy's attack with your shield, without taking any damage and you don't spend a turn for that. Just happen sometimes like 5% chance, or more depends on the shield you equiped & character stats
Anixekise true but ya have to remember that a lot of things are mixed up for fun in smash. Character wise I mean. 😁 I mean maybe it’s just the shield, just like how giga bowser wasn’t really in the main Mario games
Wrestling2006 Xbox what someone finally did a moveset origins? Lol banjos was essentially released the day after he was on RU-vid. It took weeks for me to find something like this
I don't understand people who say english version sucks. Why would you people rather listen to a language you can't understand? Also maybe I'm dumb but wouldn't the voice actor be the same in the english and japanese versions? Because the Luminary does not actually ever speak.
It still sounds pretty similar, and Sakurai said the voice actor had to... well it's not the exact words, but he said he needed to be more "fighty" about it, for smash. So chances are, the voicelines are still very similar in dragon quest than they are in smash.
You should’ve shown off gigaslash from DQ when showing off Kazap in smash since Kazap in smash is partially based on the way gigaslash is animated in DQ XI
Makes me wish for an easter egg where if you use Psyche Up and then the other Psyche Up(the taunt) four more times for five total, your character starts glowing purple aura but is just regular Psyche Up in purple. A cute reference for using a lot of Psyche Ups in a row up to five times before a single hit where a special animation showing your character glowing purple in the games for reaching max tension(100), but for Eight he'd sport the Saiyan hair too.
Ah Smash people are complaining about Whack and Thwack but I know for sure that this spell never worked with Final Boss, especially when I needed it the most
@@ZoofyZoof when a boss is like "IMMA CHARGIN' MAH LASEEEEEER" you go metal and everything's fine... but yeah that's the only use of this move, it's pretty trash and that is Well rendered in smash !
@@ChiefMedicPururu Right, but Kaclang should show DQ3 (as it first appeared there as Ironize) and Sizz and Sizzle should show DQ1 (as Hurt and Hurtmore were the first incarnation of Sizz and Sizzle).
Just wait until everyone finds out hero has been holding back his true power. He still has KaFrizzle Kaboomle, Kaswooshle, Kazapple, Inferno Slash, , Kasizzle, Omniheal Kasnooze and Gigagash at his disposal.
@@monchete9934 True, but Gigagash is an upgraded version of Gigaslash that appears in some games. Gigaslash is more iconic though as it appeared in more games.
I have a question pls. When you break Hero's default shield (when you press ZR or ZL) and he is dizzy, there's a way to make a quick recovery? Ty so much
Am i the only the trolls the hell out of someone playing hero online 😂 i just LOVE useing zelda's reflector and watching them die in one hit and then tea bagging
