I figured Nott wouldn't give out Pathfinder for Support Partners since she is a Defense Mythic. Nott can't use the Support system in her main role, but the incite is a solid support buff.
I think Shinon came out really well. He's incredibly tanky now thanks to true DR which just get's even higher if you give him Laguz friend (ironic on him). Plus his damage is really high thanks to his true DR based damage redirection and all of his buffing and debuffing. His close counter is also super useful as it's always been and now it's not as annoying to play around with how they've reworked. All and all I think he's a really powerful unit that will be incredibly annoying to take down.
Ok, Ingrid is insane. Pretty much better than Rearmed Ingrid which is kinda crazy. I'm kinda sad that I didn't pick up the Ingrid Forma, but I only missed out on Flared Sparrow and Aerial Maneuvers, since the other 2 skills were Rein Snap and No Quarter. Really insane Galeforce support unit now. Gerik and her on the same team makes Galeforce cracked. Would've liked if Shinon had Vantage, but spd based DR isn't bad at all, and he can retaliate with Deadeye and the reflection damage. DR piercing can't cut the true DR, so even if he gets DR from something else, he at least reflects something. Needed more damage, but he's a super old unit, so he also needs a wheelchair and some denture adhesive as well. Ashera is going to nuke, but she's also able to survive a hit finally if she can't one shot, plus her support is great. Nott is still a defense Mythic with Pathfinder. They didn't want to push it, so I get why her remix was so garbage. Unfortunate for those who just like her as a character outside of AR. Galle is not bad. Hard to complain about super Rein Crux + Guard and Knuckles. Like I said on the initial impression, Kris was gonna get the same boring refine that the femoid one got. Mustafa got a refine.
Have had Ashera at +10 since day 1 of her debut banner. Been waiting on this refine for a long time. Only thing I wish it had was a damage reflect effect along with the DR to reference her barrier you had to get through in the final battle against her
Whats funny is Shinon, with his newly found *true spd based DR* be becomes one of the better *Laguz Friend* users. Even though he’s the furthest thing from a Laguz’s friend.
I have a very highly invested Mustafa and I think this refine might actually be weaker than the arcane downfall I already have equipped :/ The support part is nice for future proofing i guess...
All look not bad to me. I will definitely get Ingrid's refine. Sadly I didn't get good skills for her in hof, and I wish she could get another round of omni +4 or at least more atk/spd from her refine.
wow, I'm surprised that they gave a supportive refine for Mustafa considering the name Plegian War Axe. I was expecting a foe penalty doubler (or the Plegian/ Vulture effect) It's a bit disappointing that Gale cannot use Wyvern Rift but I guess A/D Trace, A/D Hold can combo with the refine and bit pissed that Shinon got that Spd Based DR (that should've been given on Brave Marth refine) I'm so glad Ingrid got a good refine... finally that "first combat only" restriction was removed on her spectrum +5.. cannot complain on the DR Pierce since that's still alot. Incited is a very intersting support.. I guess I'll priority Nott and Ingrid on this batch
Just as I was about to head to bed, 🐀🛏 Mustafa's is okay. Not bad, not the best, but something. Galle's is impressive, especially since you could +10 him alongside Ashnard and being stupidly tanky against any and all physical types. Summer Ingrid getting that Snap+ got me thinking about pulling mines from barracks. I feel like I might have the manuals, but if not, +1 +spd is good enough, and I got a usage of Attuned Ivy to slap Soaring Guidance, Deadly Miasma. Shinnon's doesn't change my mind on foddering him for deadeye, I still prefer what my archers do. It's still impressive, and should be respected. Ashera is my most merged Astra Mythic, so it's gonna be nice knowing she should pack a punch again! Definitely gonna be interesting to see how she fairs next season. Nott's had something cooking there. If I didnt pack 2 Incite users already, I might have tried to find a use for her, but idk. Her enemy phasing is definitely a ton better, but she might be lacking on the player phase with where we are right now. Oh, and the lack of supporting pathfinder is really shameful, considering how we just got Bridal Embla giving that double Quicken Pulse to ally with highest speed, and even Summer Alear with the Bonded status. Overall, good refines all around, not enough to tempt me to build anyone here, aside from maybe Ingrid, but still an upgrade everyone needed.
So what about Shinon? was his refine good enough? Got so many random copies of him lately I could make him +5 at least. Saving them for the Deadeye fodder...
I wonder if Incite counts Pathfinder tiles for its boost, never tested it. Not upset in the slightest that Nott didn't have support Pathfinder. Can't imagine a Defense Mythic having an effect that important not being available in AR. Penalty Double is an odd addition though. Nott does have a Menace and Yune, but it's still odd. I'm Ingrid got it good, the forma I have only gets new things so I am happy.
Guess I’ll be sticking with Arcane Downfall for Mustafa. That’s a little disappointing. I’m happy for the Galle fans but man, you couldn’t pay me to use him. Can’t get over his VA being a disgusting piece of crap…
