Super Soft Sponge Cake | Easy Sponge Cake Recipe | Birthday Cake
Ingredients Required To Make Sponge Cake:
Butter: 3 TBSPNS
Oil: 3 TBSPNS
Sugar: 1 Cup/100GMS
Milk/Evaporated Milk: 1 Cup
Eggs: 2
Vanilla Extract: 1TSPN
White Vinegar: 1TSPN
Self Raising Flour Or Maida Or All-Purpose Flour: 1 Cup/100gms
Note: Add 1 1/2 TSPN Baking Powder and 1/4 TSPN Baking Soda If you use Maida or All-purpose flour
Process for making the Soft Sponge Cake Recipe
1. Add Butter, Oil, Sugar Into a mixing bowl and mix it with using a hand mixer for 2 mins
2. Add Milk/Evaporated Milk to the Mix and Mix
3. Add 2 Eggs and Mix
4. Add Vanilla extract and white Vinegar and Mix
5. Sieve Self Raising flour. If you are using Maida are all-purpose Flour Add 1 1/2 TSPN Baking Powder and 1/4 TSPN Baking Soda
6. Mix it with a spatula then Mix with Hand Mixer for 2-3 Mins then the batter is ready.
7. Grease the cake tin with butter
8. Pour the batter into the cake tin and give some dabs. So the batter will settle in the pan
9. Bake in Oven for 180°C/356°F for about 45-55 mins
10. Run a toothpick in the middle of the cake and it should come out clean.
11. Super Soft sponge cake is ready. Enjoy it after it comes to room temperature
