This is definitely my the most musically rich and diverse theme on the SFII roster! Factually. It's my favorite too. Something about it is so simple yet so beautiful.
Alot of people say Guile's theme or Ken's theme or Ryu's theme are their favourite. You don't hear Balrog's theme mentioned alot in that regard. It will always be the best theme in any SF game for me
@@xxHB311xx He head a headbutt since Champion Edition. I'm looking at it right now on page 124 of the GamePro Official Street Fighter II Strategy Guide (1992), under Killer Holds section: "Head Butt 33% Damage. Push Towards, and tap Fierce or Strong." They added the grunt noise to the move in Super Street Fighter II The New Challengers.
A tune that kept locked in my mind as a child, and I find myself singing it from time to time. Even more than 25 years later. It's weird listen to the source now. Brilliant song
The dude wearing yellow in the bg is a solid contender for most redesigned character in the series. Dude has appeared what? 4. 5 times? Fucker looks like a different concept every appearance Dudes a goddamn shapeshifter.
I was 9 when I played this game for the first time way back in 1995. It was definitely a really cool experience - I was impressed by how well the music composer had managed to capture the feel of each country in the game.
Yoooo, this song is really good. I remember playing SF2 in my SNES and loving all the music, but this one I think I overlooked how good it was... Always playing in Ryu's/Ken/Guile stages. But this part in 1:30 is so perfect... I hope SF2 tracks are available somehow in SF6
No, they didn’t. In Japan, his name was Mike Bison. Capcom USA thought they would get sued, so they gave him the Spaniard’s name which was Belrog. The name Bison was repurposed for the main villain who was originally named Vega. Capcom USA did that because they thought Vega sounded like a sissy name. So they gave the name Vega to the pretty boy Spaniard who was formally known as Belrog.
This reminds me of the times when I was a kid, I used to come home from school and the next thing I used to do was play street fighter 2. Man those times, when the real stress was defeating Vega in the next match and nothing else
También es mi favorito....pero lo que siempre me a gustado más de ese stage son las chicas en bikini del fondo jeje pero en snes están en traje de baño de una sola pieza...bueno así fue
