I've always liked the looks of Super73's and from what I hear they are really comfortable for cruising. Unfortunately, I'm not giving them my hard earned cash until they up their game.

Yea they have the look category down, but that’s really just it. Ariel Rider is a good alternative.

I would never spend 2g's on a bike with no lights no suspension nylon gears no fenders no torque to get up hills and just plain Jane and poor customer service after I did my reviews I would send it back or sell asap and use the money for the x class 52v areial rider that comes fully loaded and has all the above what a waste of money and it came with dings and scratches there's nothing super about 73's in my opinion still a fan of the channel keep up the good work and get your money back I hate to see you get ripped off like that

Unfortunately a super is all hype and about the name now. The Ariel makes it look overpriced with little value.

Compared to the X52 though this bike is actually in stock. Who knows when you'll actually get the X from Ariel Rider. Also, the Super has much better resale value. I have a Grizzly on order, but I also think the ZX is far better looking and looks fun to tool around town on.

It looks like a nice 73. With issues. Your front housing is loose means it’s going to be more bumpy here you know what I’m talking about. But you say it right good . For 2K I would return it don’t get pushed around. Great video beautiful E bikes for except for the scratched up one.👀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎

Thank you for trying to keep things interesting. I hope they make the issues right with you. If not, I think it would look cool with some red racing stripes around the frame to cover the scratches and black paint should fit the other but you shouldn't have to do that.

The ZX brakes work good for me, but I burned the disc and pads and used rubbing alcohol and they grip good for mechanical brakes…. Wait til CHI battery systems comes out with the ZX dual battery setup soon!

I have two super73 z1s and they don't even turn on anymore. Like the battery does but the throttle doesn't turn on...

i looked at all the bikes he has in his garage and the grizzly.. and you know what i went with? and i love it sooooo much... Electric Bike Company(EBC) model R... the power and the comfort are unmatched.... i did so much research on youtube i couldnt sleep at nights.. my neighbor had a super 73 and it just looks sooooo freakin cool but if you ever want to enjoy peddling the EBC model R or C are something you need to test ride(i also drove all around LA and test drove all these bikes you have in your garage, and a few more like the elux and i cant tell you how much i was blwn away by the EBC bikes. i dont work for them and have no gain but id they were public i would buy their stock. AND you can custom build! good luck! thanks for the videos! i still love watching ebike videos and really have no idea why lol

That model R bike is a completely different style of bike. Most people aren't cross shopping a tradition styled E bike with a Super.

@@logitech12345678910 i agree but i started w super73, then almost went ariel. then almost went suron(decided that as too fast) and when i rode the model C and model R with EBC i fell in love.. it was like a bentley... just cruise and so powerful. anyway i totally agree, love this look, will prob get a xz or rx still bc i love that look. but i always really want to peddle and need my skinny ass not to hurt so i can ride back to back days lol

Great video! I'm thinking of buying an RX or ZX. I'm in love with the looks of the RX and don't mind the price, but was wondering if the suspension actually matters when only riding it in urban environment anyway, since you mention that the RX seat was so bad. Also, how big is the difference between the RX using a torque PAS vs the cadence on the ZX? Does it really change the biking experience significantly?

Suspension matters yes. The rx is more comfortable just the seat is better on the zx and helps with the bumps as it has no suspension. I have a video of the rx and zx racing on my channel if you look it up. They are so similar it’s not a big difference.

Cut a hole in the end of the grip. Pull out the plastic insert on the bar end. Push your mirror inside and tighten it that’s all their is to it

have they solved your issues yet? those two scratches and loose front fork/handlebar are UNNACEPETABLE! love that the seat is comf.. i wonder if lots are having those issues. sorry, looks really cool tho

No I haven’t heard anything from Super 73 on my first message which didn’t even include all of the other problems that I came across with the bike. I did end up fixing the headset I took it all completely apart and I had someone push down on the handlebars while I tighten it all up and that seem to get rid of the play in the headset even though it shouldn’t have came like that.

I looked at this and for the price I just went for the ONYX CTY2. Super73 definitely inspired me to look into these type of bikes but they aren't up to par anymore.

Wow, i have just got my ZX and i really love it. I was afraid that I would use it like a few Times then it will hang in my garage but mate when I saw all the bikes that you own😂. Do you ride all of them? I mean you're like commuting with them or just for fun?

the EU (european market) has head lights, tail lights, 10 speed gears, mud guards, bell etc... no throttle though (eu law)

Super 73 was once a game changer but it seems they want to just keep running the same set up. They moved the battery but still it's time to hit at least 52v, bigger battery, maybe a torque sensor but they just don't seem interested in it. They are WAY too high for what they are offering when you compare them to other brands.

Super73 needs a guy like you. You have a keen eye for quality and spotting issues. $2K bicycle is not cheap. Ariel Rider is a great alternative and they don’t suffer from these kind of quality issues.

I guess it really came down to I’m a car guy at heart and I detail vehicles and I always have an eye for perfection. And I’ve always felt like if I buy something brand spanking new it should come in 10 out of 10 mint condition with no issues and if there is a few issues on the item it should either be replaced with a brand new item in the other one sit back or a partial credit.

Of the range of Super73 the ZX is by fat the best looking one. Doesn't try to look like a motorbike due to its minimal future/retro look. Putting saddle bags and baskets on ruins the minimalist aesthetics. Its not the best bike in the range though. The ZX bikes are prone to issues with its motor, controller and battery.

For real.... $2,100 for no suspension, no lights, horrible tektro brakes, a seat with missing screws, scratched frame, scratched fork, handle bars that wiggle back and forth etc

Why doesn't Ariel open up shop here in Amsterdam? E-bike's are so popular here as this is THE bike city of the world. I keep reading on the Ariel bikes and wish I could chose one of those instead of these corner cutting Super73 bikes. They are nice, but should be cheaper imo.

With Super73 you're just paying for the name, nothing else. Crappy quality and horribly cheap components. Those tektro brakes suuuuuuuuck.. no way in heeeeeeell I'd pay that much for no suspension, no lights etc

Zx is the best model dude.....they are all 1200 watt same motors.....can always upgrade and add battery later ....zx is just so nice and simple especially for areas like mine on as island....plenty of range and speed....may buy a second battery thou❤
