Your vids are extremely helpful! I'll be doing an A2A S/C install on my AWD G37 Coupe pretty soon, been looking all over for helpful info and your series is pretty much the best! Thanks!
Im really blown away with this build man🤯 for the engine to hold 500+hp at a decent tune makes me feel hopeful for mine. I'm so happy for you, so inspiring! I wish the chicago winter ends soon so i can get back to my build.
I'm totally lost on what to do with my kit. I was able to get a steal on a used (but completely rebuilt with the new Si impeller) Stillen supercharger, brand new Soho A2A conversion, complete ZSpeed clutch system, CMAK, 1050IDX injectors, a Walbro 450 pump, two pulleys, and some other small stuff for $6,500. I now don't know what parts I'm missing, as a few got lost when removing it from the other car.
Dude nice work its also refreshing to see your honesty because we all fuck up lol most of these youtubers only show the good not the real so hats off to you brotha! Also awesome numbers for pump gas
OK, it's official...............I'm jealous! I have GOT to get me a supercharger system for my 370z! I was looking at the Stillen Supercharger kit for mine. I have to find a local shop in Louisville, KY that can do the modifications and installation. Or ship the car to a reputable installer for the Stillen kit or whatever kit I wind up getting. I want my Z to look totally STOCK on the outside! That's important to me. I like the stock look on my Z. I just want the linier power band of the supercharger. Great video showing the culmination of your journey. You are one lucky man to have that Z you have! Looking forward to your road trip video! I wish I could go with you. My daughter lives in San Francisco. I've been out there several times this year. Beautiful area. West coat trip will be incredible! That's one trip I would love to join your group on!
@@Dpend84 Thanks for the info. I'll have to check them out. I had no idea there was a Z specialist right here in Louisville but I have only lived here for 2 years. Thanks again.
@@thecarizon504 cool! Yeah I just dealt with it for like 6 months and it really was only a 15min fix. Love the built and videos. I’m looking forward to putting a Stillen supercharger on my z and your videos were very informative!! 👍🏾
Congrats bud! I love the build. I am very happy you talked about reliability. It's the most important thing for me, being a modder for so many years. Love the car, if you ever in the northeast - hit me up. I'd like to show you my Roots supercharged Honda. Feel free to check out some of the clips I put up on youtube as well. Keep it going! Subscribed!
There is a map which pulls timing when the knock strength gets too high. Losing so much horse power is a clear indication of the restrictive pre-filters.
I legit saw you car a few weeks ago in a parking lot one night no joke. I'm in your area lol. Thought damn it looks good. I'm still not sure what I want to do with my 370Z. Love yours though sweet to know it's supercharged too.
Well done! I received my kit and fuel return system from Aaron on Thursday! The other supporting equipment arrived earlier. I am scheduled to drop the car off at Dynosty in early March. I am very excited, will be running flex fuel, and also will be running a conservative tune. On e85, I am shooting for low 600s. In Chicago, I'll also run two different sets of tires for summer and winter. I am happy for you and look forward to joing the club.
Looks like from SF, you are taking the I-5 to LA. I recommend you take the 1 or 101 down the coast to LA. It's a little longer but the view the 10xbetter. I-5 is nothing but grassland and cattle.
I did a Dallas, LA, San Francisco, Portland, Denver, Dallas loop in my 370z in 2019 and M M is right about highway 1. However, a part of highway 1 caved in recently near Big Sur so check to make sure it's opened back up before you go.
Does you car make a funny smell on the dyno too? Mine is fine normally, but when I do a pull I get a funning smell for a little bit then it disappears. Cat less btw.
I wouldn't bother. It's a fun project but the wrap, at least the stuff I used, frays and comes apart over time. Especially when you rub on it while working on something else.
Hey man, to gain these numbers is the kit alone enough with a reasonable exhaust? Or do you think long tube headers would be needed? Let me know man thanks!
does the tune control torque numbers as well? looking at buying a 370 already supercharged it makes just over 500hp but the torque is at 490 and im worried its a little high but unsure if this is something i can get retuned or how it really all works
How are you changing the PSI on the supercharger in the different tunes? Isn’t it belt driven? Aren’t you locked into a PSI based on pulley size? Is this just the fact that it can’t make as much boost with all those filters?
Will do a review video in thebfuture but yes, been daily driving it for 4000 miles no real issues. :) As long as you aren't constantly flooring it, depending on how you drive it, you should get a lot of miles out of it.
Is it possible to make a tune for 87 and 91? Otherwise it will come handy to have some bottles of "octane booster" (not sure if they work) because in some remote areas, sometimes you won't find 93 fuel
@@ZeroFX32 yeah this has been a concern of mine. I need to do some research but I would think as long as the car isn't pushed hard you could get by. Though even at cruising the car is tuned to run 93 and may knock. I think some guys dd on 91 though all the time.
@@thecarizon504 flat foot shifting is awesome but not good for the clutch they say Launch control I don't know how to use it most effectively, I cannot figure out correct rpm to launch quickly. Probably I am doing something wrong as always 😁
EK YU TEK? I’m sorry what? ECUTEK is E C U Tech. You know, because your car has an ECU, that’s what the company name is, they work with your cars ECU for tuning.
@@thecarizon504 could you explain the process of what will you need? Bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, another tune and what else? I know there's a device that tells you the ethanol content but no idea yet where does it goes, and if anything else (besides tune) is needed. So, like you did with the SC vs Turbo video, you can do a quick video explaining that. I'm sure it will be a great quality video as always
Nice man. So I guess that’s what im looking at as well. I’m assuming you have the SI impeller? Do you have the smaller 9lb pulley as well? Good numbers and good you chose Eugene to get you there.
