@@JMVQ37 What car would be worth it for a similar price though? Horsepower is not cheap. I bought my Z used for a decent deal and for the cost of this kit or any other FI kit I am still way below the price of any other car with similar performance by 10s of thousands. Been considering a new M2 for a few months now but its going to cost nearly double than it would to boost my Z

That's why it's a tuner kit. Some people may already have an Omni 4-bar and want to purchase without.

@unijabnx2000 it does, everything needed to install the supercharger is included. The OMNI MAP sensor is a component necessary for tuning and engine management. It's used for speed density tuning.

This is a complete air-to-air kit. There is no air to water to keep, because it's all completely new.

From the various forums and videos I’ve seen a healthy VQ hold 600 wheel max safely. Anything more it’s a ticking time bomb.

Its mostly about torque. Stock connecting rods are the weakest point. Keep torque under 500 and can probably hit 700 without short term issues.

Our kit keeps within the safety limits of the standard engine for max power and max longevity, pushing more than this starts to get risky and we would recommend a built engine :)

You’ll need to upgrade the fueling a bit to handle that if going with the tuner kit. If you go with one of our complete kits it will come with the fueling parts needed to support the listed power level.

We can't confirm fitment, maybe with some small modifications as the intake tubing is very tight against the front!

It includes a cooler for the supercharger, we would recommend adding one of our oil coolers in most instances and the kit is built to be compatible with the Z1 oil cooler kit.

Turbo's are great in some applications! But for this platform the Supercharger reigns supreme!

$6499 for a tuner kit, 🤷‍♂

Actually GTM supercharger used rotrex c38 blower as well on 370z before they went bust, way back 2012. Its great to have various FI kit options available, kudos to both z1 n topgunz.

The original designer of this kit is Z1 and Rotrex. It was designed by Z1 with direction and input from Rotrex. Aaron's kit is completely different, as is GTM's kit that used the Rotrex C38 over a decade ago.

If you look at the top guns kit the rotrex is capable of more boost out of the box. Not to say the v-3 is bad. Gonna be a preference thing at this point

You have to upgrade the v3 to compare it to the rotr3x from what I've read. On the vortech you Could either upgrade impeller , bearings , volute, pulleys ect... you can go crazy with it and thats one of its pro's imo. There is a lot of options from various companies to make that v3 do what you want. On the other hand the rotrex out of the box does a little better than the v3. I have no knowledge about rotrex options for upgrades.

@Techsauce definitely upgradable. I think the rotrex is still the better option due to the longer service interval and included filter and cooler. The V3 is by no means bad but out of the box the rotrex is the better kit

@@johnserrata5346 the oil change interval is really convenient, the oil cooler is not used or needed on the vortech unit. The vortech can be changed to use engine lubrication if wanted meaning it would just be refreshed every time you do an oil change on the car. Like I said, the vortech units have a ton of options and upgrades. But out of the box the rotrex is better. I just wouldn't suggest switching if already own a vortech kit. Now if starting from 0 this z1 kit is looking good.

Not a lot of forced induction options for the awd cars. No options for twin turbo anymore. Like they don't want us having a budget gtr option.
