Doc Orph is one of my favorite characters not just because he's funny, but because he is an all around good guy. hes the only character on the show that isnt a jerk or a dumbass or a maniac. all he does that's crazy is raise people from the dead
@Bailinton Presumably the Eight Schools of magic, which are as follows: Abjuration: protective spells Conjuration: summoning creatures or objects Divination: sensing or detecting information Enchantment: giving new properties to existing matter Evocation: creating energy Illusion: creating false images or sounds Necromancy: spells pertaining to death or the undead Transmutation: modifying matter, turning one substance into another
I love how he's done that "his body turns to stone while he's talking to someone wherever they are," so many times around Hank and Dean that they've started doing stuff to his body while he's away, lol
0:54 "Use your fake impossible magic to get us out of here." And I love how Orpheus essentially says..."Oooh, gee, sorry. Wish I could help, but, my magic is "fake and impossible." And "fake" things can't help you, so, sorry, can't do a thing to get you out." Sick burn.
The best one was when he came out the bathroom at the courthouse warning the boys and Brock not to hasty to enter the bathroom. He "had TACO BELL for lunch!"
@@BrendenTait8858 Well... in that case the Outrider IS more powerful because he is reckless and takes shortcuts. Not saying it's safe, might bite him in the end, but the fact is he IS more powerful
Of all the future projects that could happen after Venture Bros, an Orpheus/Triad spin-off would be my fondest wish. After all, they just got a new place in New York
I'm pretty sure the Sovereign and Orpheus' Master are the same person (Since we know it's not REALLY Bowie), or at least know each other. They are the only two characters who can shapeshift into objects, or even other people. The only difference I can see is Bowie can change his voice depending on his transformation (Example being when he transforms into the fake 'future' Dr. Venture screaming about fixing his time machine to save the future from the angels of death or something) while the Master seems stuck with the same voice (examples being when he transforms into Orpheus' WIfe and when he takes Deens future form when Triana enters his chamber).
Dr orpheus main magic powers - Telekinesis: can float and move objects - Telepathy: can read minds, enter minds and mentally combat others - Illusion casting: can create very realistic mental illusions -Invisibility: temporarily hide things from being seen - Magical energy blasts: shoot energy boasts from hands. Can use these energy blasts to start fires, destroy objects or knock out enemies - Teleportation: disappear in a puff of smoke - Astral projection: project his mind to other locations. Leaves behind stone body - Sleep inducement: touches people to knock them out - Memory erasing: makes his daughter forget The Master is in her closet - Memory erasing resistance: guild states he is resistant to memory erasing technology - Death prediction: predicts when and how someone will die by touching them - ESP: can sense things beyond his normal senses -Mediumship: can see and talk to ghosts and other spirits -Exorcism: can remove ghosts and spirits from an area -Possibly raise the dead: may be able to raise the dead -Spell casting: recite a variety of incantations which can have many different effects
And then Action Man had his stroke and Dr. Orpheus felt like shit because he couldn't do anything to stop it. 14 out-of-universe years to get to that 2 in-universe years stroke.
It's not that, he simply didn't believe there was any difference between the two And then they had a competition to prove which was superior And then when they both fail to complete the task they decided it was a pointless thing to argue about
