That's part of why season 6 was such a let down for me. Great for Rusty and The Monarch, but we barely have any of the returning characters outside of the Guild.
I really enjoyed Season 6 but it was clear with how self contained it was it could not take the risks that Season 7 (the best one) could take. It was a shift in the status quo that mostly spun it's wheels instead of propelling them very far forward.
Hearing the voice of Sterling Archer coming from a giant floating Santa Claus make a joke about coming out of the closet brought me intense joy for some reason
Poor Nien. He just got isekai'd and he's not the chosen one, he received no special powers, there isn't even one cute chick with the hots for him. He's just hanging out with some sort of crazy ancient force users on a primitive planet, and he doesn't even understand the language.
I honestly would like to see it but without the master being involved, he's kind of a huge douche to everyone he talks to, and not in a funny way like Archer.
@@respectfullyrazerian2154 I never liked the Master. Plus I call bull on him posing as Future!Dean to Triana since he couldn't be arsed to sense Dean was one of many clones
I like how despite being the most serious member of the group, Jefferson Twilight still has his funny moments. Like at the end when he wet himself. You expect the overly dramatic Dr. Orpheus and the sarcastically flamboyant Alchemist to be funny, but it's the serious one who's humor really sells it.
"Being a magic superhero that keeps chasing the same guy over and over is completely gay, and this is coming from a guy who voluntarily has sex with men!" Al seriously has some of the best lines in the entire show.
You would be surprised how many times I've heard variations of this phrase from members of the LGBTQ+ people whenever they see someone doing something "too loud"...
8:45 This is why I love the Triad so much. It's not like they are stuck to each other, or that they wanna aspire to bigger things to leave the group behind. They are a group of "losers", but they are each other's losers. They make fools out of themselves, but as a group, and they know it, yet they keep trying.
I disagree. They are all very powerful as individuals.... But together we get the opposite of usual super teams. They all bring each other down because they have too much fun together.
These guys might have been my favorite part of the show. You think Orpheus is gonna be like, evil and untrustworthy when you initially meet him, but it turns out he's an incredibly friendly and kind neighbor whose willing to lend him and his friends hands to what ever might be going on.
@@SpitfiretheCat16 Ignorance is a byproduct of not asking questions. If anything they should feel ashamed for judging him for asking those questions that he was genuinely curious about.
@@Anidem9 but there is a tactful way to gain knowledge. Its pretty well accepted now that just asking random trans people about their junk is incredibly rude, it doesnt make the asker EVIL but the trans person is perfectly allowed to be uncomfortable with the questioning
Shit, Jefferson doubles down on the reference earlier when Red/Dragoon steps up to try 'a twist on an old classic' and he responds with, "You're gonna play the banjo while he sings 'Mammy'?"
You know what, now I know why they didn't let Al know the master right away. Because both of them have the same humor and it would have ruined the entrance
1:06 just realized this star wars guy could be the master. Like none of them expected it to work, and they summoned a fully sentient being from a trading card? This screams master's prank all over it.
God, I would watch a whole show of these three. It's not just that they're hilarious, and still somehow manage to be kinda cool, but that the writers did such a good job making them actually come off as friends.
"Be not too hasty entering that room, I HAD TACO BELL FOR LUNCH, expert witness, Doctor Byron Orpheus, has ARRIVED!" most epic way of saying "I took a wicked shit" ever!
Triad made me aware of Radon dangers in basements and now I have an explanation for my severe cough and all the hard green mucus chunks coming out of my lungs. Thanks, Triad.
Heh to actually think Jefferson was a parody of Blade. Honestly I am looking forward to see this show come back from cancellation. Its apparently coming back on HBO max
0:45 not sure if it’s because it’s Dana Snyder, scratch that it’s 90% why he always gives great comedic line deliveries; but that is one of the funniest bits from this show to me to this day.
You know, I didnt realise they had Dana snyder & Carey means (frylocke & master shake from aqua teen hunger force) on venture bros, teamed up as a trio. Wonder why Dave Willis (meatwad) didnt make it to the show
Since the finale movie is the last of what we're going to see of them 😢, it wouldn't hurt to add the TRIAD scenes from RADIANT IS THE BLOOD OF THE BABOON HEART, in a new update. 👍🤘🤟
